Himmatwala (transl. The brave one) is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film written and directed by Sajid Khan and jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Vashu Bhagnani. The film features Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah in the lead roles. Set in 1983, it is an official remake of 1983 film of the same name by K. Raghavendra Rao, which was, in turn, a remake of the 1981 Telugu film Ooruki Monagadu. The film was released on 29 March 2013.[3][4] The film marks Tamannaah’s comeback to Bollywood after she debuted in the 2005 film Chand Sa Roshan Chehra. On release, it was universally panned by critics and audiences alike for its story, dialogues, humor, direction, logic, screenplay, and acting, and has even been cited as one of the worst Bollywood movies ever.Set in 1983, the story begins with Ravi (Ajay Devgn) winning a fighting competition at a club. He is known as Himmatwala (courageous man). He then goes to Ramnagar village, where he meets his mother, Savitri (Zarina Wahab), and his younger sister, Padma (Leena Jumani), who are living a miserable life.
Ravi’s mother Savitri, tells Ravi that Ravi’s father (Anil Dhawan) was an honest and respected man, and he was the priest of the temple. His father was framed by Sher Singh (Mahesh Manjrekar), the tyrant zamindar (landlord), for robbing the temple since the latter saw him commit a murder. Disgusted, Ravi’s father committed suicide. In revenge, young Ravi tried to kill Sher Singh but failed. When Ravi’s house is burnt, Savitri tells him to run away as Sher Singh will kill him.
With revenge in his mind, Ravi beats up Narayan Das (Paresh Rawal), Sher Singh’s manager and brother-in-law, as well as threatening Sher Singh. The next day, he publicly humiliates Sher Singh’s daughter, Rekha (Tamannaah), because she was beating up her innocent driver. In response, Rekha unleashes a tiger on the village in front of Ravi. Her plan was unsuccessful, however, as it backfired. Rekha falls down from the terrace and is about to be attacked by the animal when Ravi jumps and saves her life. Rekha falls in love with Ravi, and afterward, saves Ravi’s life against her father Sher Singh’s plans.
On the other hand, Ravi comes to know that Padma is in love with Shakti (Adhyayan Suman), Narayan Das’s son. He has his objections, and so has Narayan. However, Sher Singh tells Narayan Das that marrying Shakti with Padma would give them an upper hand over Ravi as they can ill-treat Padma and keep Ravi in control. Meanwhile, Padma now knows that Ravi, who is living with her, is not the real Ravi (Riteish Deshmukh), and Ravi died in a road accident. Before dying, the real Ravi asked him to take care of his family. Padma is initially upset but then reconciles after Ravi saves her life.
Shortly after Padma and Shakti get married, both the father and son start ill-treating Padma. In revenge, Ravi uses Rekha against her own father, just like what she advises him. After Rekha tells her father, Sher Singh, that she is pregnant with Ravi’s child, Sher Singh begs Ravi to marry Rekha. Eventually, Ravi punished Narayan Das and Shakti by doing all the household chores. He also wins the Sarpanch election, and Sher Singh finally gives all the property documents back to the villagers, which Sher Singh had illegally taken from them before.

Aakrosh (transl. Anger) is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film[4][5][6] directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak under the banner of Big Screen Entertainer. It stars Ajay Devgan, Akshaye Khanna and Bipasha Basu; while Paresh Rawal and Reema Sen play the supporting roles. The soundtrack was composed by Pritam with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. The film features cinematography by Thiru, production design by Sabu Cyril and editing by Arun Kumar. Tyag Rajan and R.P Yadav arranged and choreographed the action sequences of the film.
The film was based on news reports of honour killings in India, and has also been described as a remake of the 1988 American film, Mississippi Burning.[7][8] It was a commercial flop movie. Three medical friends from Delhi go missing in a small village – Jhanjhar. It’s two months, and there is no clue about their disappearance. The media and students movement demand action from the authorities. It’s then that the government orders a Central Bureau of Investigation enquiry with officers Siddhant Chaturvedi CBI (Akshaye Khanna) and Pratap Kumar (Ajay Devgan) to solve the case. They find it difficult to solve the case as the local police and other authorities are a part of Shool Sena, which is supported by the Home Minister and is responsible for illicit activities. Siddhant and Pratap also face Superintendent of police Ajatshatru Singh IPS (Paresh Rawal), a ruthless police officer who misuses his power. Not only that, even the locals don’t support the investigation.
It’s with the help of Roshni (Amita Pathak), who is the daughter of the village head and also very wealthy, and Geeta (Bipasha Basu), who is Ajatshatru’s wife and Pratap’s former love, that the investigation moves ahead.
The truth behind the missing three friends is revealed by Geeta, who witnessed the killing of these boys by a local politician helped by her husband.
This investigation is filled with many traps and thrills created by Ajatshatru and his colleagues. They try to destroy the name of CBI in a number of ways. The duo also manages to get one of the criminals to believe that the shool sena is trying to kill him, assuming him to be a mole, and that he had better become a government witness for their case. The criminal who intimidated was only guilty of burying the bodies. Things get worse when Ajatshatru comes to know about his wife Geeta helping CBI. He then beats Geeta brutally with his belt behind closed doors and leaves her hospitalized. Pratap, filled with anger, traps each of the criminals by hacking their respective phone’s databases and capturing their illicit activities on CCTV cameras. When it is Ajatshatru’s turn, Pratap cuts him with a sharp razor and beats him brutally and mercilessly in a salon behind closed doors. In the end, all the criminals are sentenced to imprisonment. However, the longest sentence doled out was only for 10 years and the lightest was for 3. Obviously, justice is still blind because there was no sentence passed for the 300 villagers burned alive, the cruel beating of the wife, or the kidnap, abuse, and cutting of the tongue of Jamunia.
But the story does not end there. As everyone is leaving the court, Siddhant slips a revolver into village woman Jamunia’s (Reema Sen) hands, with which she manages to kill all the culprits.
The film ends with Siddhant and Pratap bidding goodbye at the railway station, and Geeta running behind Pratap as he boards the train to leave, with Siddhant watching on.

Inspector Jai (Ajay Devgn) is an upright and fearless cop who is given the job to take down the criminal empire of Raj Solanki (Naseeruddin Shah). Jai and his accomplice Inspector Sandhya (Juhi Chawla), who also happens to be his love, start taking down Raj’s empire with gusto. But Raj’s cronies and benefactors are not the only ones to be upset by this.
Raj has problems of his own. He does not want his son (Deepak Tijori) to turn into a criminal like him. Raj is also aware of his minion’s (Gulshan Grover) discontent; he wants to start many criminal activities that even Raj will not do. Raj tries to stop Jai without applying pressure or brutality, only to meet Jai’s mother (Reema Lagoo) and realize that Jai is his son. Now Raj finds himself in a real tight spot.
Jai’s mother does not like Jai trying to take down Raj, but Jai is determined. After some time, Jai learns about his relationship with Raj, but continues his job nonetheless. Raj’s legitimate son and his minion try to take down Jai individually, without knowing the secret.

Set in 1983, the story begins with Ravi (Ajay Devgn) winning a fighting competition at a club. He is known as (courageous man). He then goes to Ramnagar village, where he meets his mother, Savitri (Zarina Wahab), and his younger sister, Padma , who are living a miserable life.
Ravi’s mother Savitri, tells Ravi that Ravi’s father (Anil Dhawan) was an honest and respected man, and he was the priest of the temple. His father was framed by Sher Singh (Mahesh Manjrekar), the tyrant zamindar (landlord), for robbing the temple since the latter saw him commit a murder. Disgusted, Ravi’s father committed suicide. In revenge, young Ravi tried to kill Sher Singh but failed. When Ravi’s house is burnt, Savitri tells him to run away as Sher Singh will kill him.
With revenge in his mind, Ravi beats up Narayan Das (Paresh Rawal), Sher Singh’s manager and brother-in-law, as well as threatening Sher Singh. The next day, he publicly humiliates Sher Singh’s daughter, Rekha (Tamannaah), because she was beating up her innocent driver. In response, Rekha unleashes a tiger on the village in front of Ravi. Her plan was unsuccessful, however, as it backfired. Rekha falls down from the terrace and is about to be attacked by the animal when Ravi jumps and saves her life. Rekha falls in love with Ravi, and afterward, saves Ravi’s life against her father Sher Singh’s plans.
On the other hand, Ravi comes to know that Padma is in love with Shakti (Adhyayan Suman), Narayan Das’s son. He has his objections, and so has Narayan. However, Sher Singh tells Narayan Das that marrying Shakti with Padma would give them an upper hand over Ravi as they can ill-treat Padma and keep Ravi in control. Meanwhile, Padma now knows that Ravi, who is living with her, is not the real Ravi (Riteish Deshmukh), and Ravi died in a road accident. Before dying, the real Ravi asked him to take care of his family. Padma is initially upset but then reconciles after Ravi saves her life.
