Raaz 3: The Third Dimension is a 2012 Indian 3D horror thriller film directed by Vikram Bhatt, and produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt.[3] The movie features Emraan Hashmi, Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta as main characters. The film is the third installment in the Raaz series, which is a sequel to Raaz: The Mystery Continues in 2009, which itself was a sequel to Raaz in 2002. Bipasha Basu, who was a part of the first film of the Raaz series, made a comeback to the series after opting out of the second film. It was one of the films in a series of quasi-sequels released under the Bhatt Banner including Raaz: The Mystery Continues, Murder 2, Jannat 2, Jism 2, 1920: Evil Returns, Murder 3 and Aashiqui 2, each of which had nothing to do with their respective prequels, but somehow fell into the same genre following a similar story.
Shanaya (Bipasha Basu) is an ambitious actress who has a passionate affair with a director named Aditya (Emraan Hashmi). Her career takes a drastic roll when a newcomer, Sanjana (Esha Gupta) who also happens to be Shanaya’s step- sister, enters the film industry and comes into spotlight, receiving accolades and appreciation for her work. Suddenly, Shanaya seems forgotten and everybody only wants to work with Sanjana. Soon enough, Shanaya sees her career fading away and her envy slowly becomes craziness. She turns to black magic and makes it her goal in life to destroy Sanjana’s career and make her feel the pain of loss.

She seeks help of her former servant, Sonu (Sunil Dhariwal), a tantrik who helps her practice black magic and call upon an evil entity, Tara Dutt (Manish Choudhary). She asks him to destroy Sanjana’s life and career. Tara agrees to help haunt and torture Sanjana until she becomes suicidal. He asks Shanaya to give Sanjana a black poison through a person she trusts. Shanaya seduces Aditya to do it for her. Although reluctant at first, Aditya agrees due to his love for Shanaya but soon he realizes that what he’s doing is immoral.

Aditya, whose sympathy for Sanjana has now turned into love, leaves Shanaya and refuses to listen to her any more. To end Aditya’s and Sanjana’s love triangle, Shanaya hatches a plan by befriending Sanjana in order to poison her which Aditya gets suspicious about. At a movie premiere, Shanaya reveals that she actually hid the poison in the chocolate basket she gave to Sanjana earlier. In the bathroom, Sanjana is attacked by a swarm of moths that cause her to strip naked and run back to the party, thus getting exposed by the paparazzi and the people there. The public wrongly believe this to be a deliberate publicity stunt of hers, causing her career to be the verge of being ruined. Aditya takes her to a hospital and finds out that Shanaya was behind it. In rage, Aditya visits Shanaya’s house and damages her possessions, taking away the last bit of the poisonous water.

Agitated, Shanaya seeks Tara Dutt’s help again, wanting to kill Sanjana once and for all. Tara Dutt tells Shanaya that life and death are in God’s hands and that to fight God he’ll need her life force. He tells Shanaya that she has to has sex with him to enable Tara become powerful enough to fight God, to which Shanaya agrees. At the hospital, with the help of the doctor and a priest, Aditya goes into the spirit world to fight Tara Dutt. A hard fight ensues and Aditya defeats Tara Dutt, rescuing Sanjana’s soul in the process. Back in the real world, Shanaya suffers physical damage as a result of the fight between Tara Dutt and Aditya and attempts to kill Aditya and Sanjana, only to meet failure. Aditya protects Sanjana from the defeated Shanaya, who vows that she will forever remain a star and commits suicide by pouring acid on her head, causing her skin to melt to death. Later, the media puts Sanjana off the hook as they conclude her ‘publicity stunt’ was a result of a nervous breakdown she had due to stress.

The film ends with the moral that our love for others matters more than our love for ourselves.

Baaghi (transl. Rebel) is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. A remake of the 2004 Telugu film Varsham, with a climax inspired by the 2011 Indonesian film The Raid: Redemption, the film stars Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles and Sudheer Babu in his Hindi debut, with Sunil Grover in a supporting role.

Baaghi was released worldwide on 29 April 2016. Made on a budget of ₹370 million (US$5.2 million), the film earned over ₹1.27 billion (US$18 million) worldwide.Later on, it spawned two spiritual sequels, Baaghi 2 (2018) and Baaghi 3 (2020), thus becoming the first installment in the Baaghi film series.
The film starts with martial arts champion and Dreaded Gangster Raghav Shetty (Sudheer Babu) force-abducting Sia Khurana (Shraddha Kapoor) from her film’s set in Hyderabad and taking her to Bangkok. Sia’s father, P.P. Khurana (Sunil Grover), along with the producer Dasanna, goes to government offices and the police for help, but no one is ready to assist them since Raghav is an influential man and there is no extradition treaty between India and Thailand in existence. Khurana then suggests to Dasanna that Sia’s ex-boyfriend, Ranveer ‘Ronnie’ Pratap Singh (Tiger Shroff), is the only perfect choice left for the job. Initially hesitant, Ronnie agrees to do so, since he needs money to treat Subbu, a mute young boy who is being treated for his vocal chords.

In a flashback, Ronnie and Sia meet on a train. Raghav sees Sia at the train station and starts to like her. He tells his men to get information about her. Ronnie visits the martial arts school of a certain Guruswamy, Raghav’s father, in Kollam, Kerala. In a letter to Guruswamy, Ronnie’s father, Samarjit Singh (Arun Bali), who happens to be his ex-batchmate from the army, explains that Ronnie is a rebel and asks him to make Ronny a good human being. Ronnie and Sia fall in love, and Sia gives him a ring she got from her father, asking him always to keep it. Raghav asks for Sia’s hand from Khurana, and Khurana is lost by greed when he sees how much money Raghav offers for Sia. He agrees to hand Sia over to Raghav, but when he sees that Ronnie has Sia’s ring, he realizes she is in love with Ronnie.

Guruswamy overhears his son Raghav’s words about killing Ronnie and refuses to let him do so; Raghav, feeling humiliated, poisons and kills him to get him out of the way. Ronnie beats up Raghav’s men when they manhandle Subbu, who Ronnie is close to, only for Raghav to get him arrested later on after he is seen mourning for Guruswamy, who he had begun seeing as a father-figure. Khurana then creates a misunderstanding between Sia and Ronnie to separate them, which works, and the two part ways.

In the present, Ronnie reaches Bangkok and visits Raghav’s fight club, beating the most potent fighter there to get Raghav’s attention. The next day, Ronnie breaks into the house of Raghav’s right-hand man, Biju, and holds Biju’s wife at gunpoint, forcing him to reveal Sia’s location. Finding out she was at the local hospital, Ronnie saves Sia and escapes with her under both of them being disguised as a doctor and nurse. The two stop at an island on their way back to India, where Sia discovers her father’s deceit when she sees that Ronnie is still wearing her ring. The couple reconciles, but Raghav and his men attack them. Biju shoots Ronnie, who falls off a cliff.

Raghav takes Sia back to his place. It is then revealed that Ronnie is alive. It turns out that Biju had used blank bullets in his gun, sparing him as Ronnie had spared his wife’s life earlier. Biju claims he spared Ronnie as he believed him to be right, but Raghav slits his throat.

Ronnie storms Raghav’s building and single-handedly fights off all of the killers and swordsmen in Raghav’s employ. He reaches Raghav, who initially overpowers him, but when Raghav reveals that he was the one who murdered Guruswamy, Ronnie becomes enraged and uses Guruswamy’s signature moves to kill Raghav. In the end, Ronnie, now happily together with Sia, becomes the new teacher in Guruswamy’s school, where a statue of Guruswamy now stands.

Krrish (Hindi pronunciation: [krɪʃ]) is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language superhero film directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan. It stars Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra while Naseeruddin Shah, Rekha, Manini Mishra, Archana Puran Singh and Sharat Saxena feature in supporting roles. It is the second installment in the Krrish franchise, being the sequel to Koi… Mil Gaya, and relates the story of Krishna, the son of the previous film’s protagonists, who inherits his father’s superhuman abilities. After falling in love with Priya, he follows her to Singapore, where he takes on the persona of “Krrish” to keep his identity secret while saving children from a burning circus. From that moment on, he is regarded as a superhero, and must later thwart the plans of the evil Dr. Arya, who has a connection to Krishna’s father, Rohit, the protagonist of the previous film.

Krrish was conceived to be a film of global significance and a trendsetter in Indian cinema, with visual effects on par with those from Hollywood. To that end, the effects team was aided by Hollywood’s Marc Kolbe and Craig Mumma, and the stunts were choreographed by Chinese martial arts film expert Tony Ching. The music was composed by Rajesh Roshan, with the background score by Salim-Sulaiman. Filming was done to a large extent in Singapore as well as India.

The film was released worldwide on 23 June 2006 at a budget of ₹40 crore[1] and on 1000 prints, both near-record amounts for an Indian film at the time. Krrish received mixed reviews from critics in India, but got a record opening week at the box office. A blockbuster, Krrish grossed a worldwide total of ₹126 crore,[2] becoming the third highest-grossing Indian film of 2006.

Krrish received 8 nominations at the 52nd Filmfare Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor for Roshan and Best Supporting Actress for Rekha, and won 3, including Best Special Effects. Krrish was the first Indian film to be shot in Singapore under the Singapore Tourism Board’s Film-in-Singapore subsidy scheme, and over 60% of the film was shot there.[15] Shooting was accomplished on location over a span of 2 months, from September to November 2005.[16] Locations featured included the Singapore Zoo, the Gateway building, and the Singapore National Library.[17] Another major filming location was Robinson Road, where heavy rains caused production delays.[18] The Singapore police were on location to block roads and protect the filming equipment,[18] such as when the film’s action scenes required two 250-foot high industrial cranes.[13] Author Audrey Yue noted that the film shoot benefited Singapore by leading to domestic and Indian film-induced tourism.[15]

Filming also took place in Manali and Film City in Mumbai.[19] During filming of a flying stunt, one of the wires that was tied to Hrithik Roshan broke, causing him to fall 50 feet, though he landed safely on a shop’s canopy.[20] Hrithik described the incident as a “freak accident”, stating, “I was skydiving to my death till I fell on a six-feet-long canopy of a shop that was out because of the slight drizzle. The canopy had iron rods. But I missed those rods too. What do I say? I guess the right word to describe the situation would be jadoo (magic).”[20] Roshan also suffered other injuries during the film’s production. He tore the hamstring in his right leg during a circus scene, singed his hair while running through fire in another action scene, and broke his thumb and toe during strenuous training for the wirework.[21]

Mohenjo Daro is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language period action-adventure film[4] written and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.[5][6][7] It is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur for UTV Motion Pictures and Sunita Gowariker for Ashutosh Gowariker Productions (AGPPL),[8] and features Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. It is a cinematic presentation based on the ancient Indus Valley civilization,[9] and its city Mohenjo-daro, a UNESCO World Heritage site.[10]

Set in 2016 BC at the height of Indus Valley Civilization,[11][12] the story follows a farmer Sarman (Hrithik Roshan) who travels to the city of Mohenjo Daro and falls in love with a high-status woman (Hegde), and who must then challenge the city’s elite, and fight against overwhelming odds to save their civilization. Gowariker took over three years to research and develop the script, working closely with archaeologists to ensure authenticity in the representation of his fictional story.[13] The film was shot in Bhuj and Mumbai with brief schedules in Bhedaghat (Jabalpur) and Thane.

The score and soundtrack are composed by A. R. Rahman[14] with lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar.[15] The film was released worldwide on 12 August 2016 to generally mixed or negative reviews from critics,[16][17][18][19] and is considered to be a major box office flop.[20]

Mohenjo Daro marks the last film production of UTV Motion Pictures, as after the film, there are only two Disney releases, Dangal and Jagga Jasoos, which marked producer Kapur’s final projects under Disney-UTV before his contract with the company lapsed on 1 January 2017.

The film opens in 2016 BCE with Sarman (Hrithik Roshan), a young man from the village of Amri, who lost his parents at a young age. Sarman kills a crocodile that has been terrorizing his village’s fishermen and is hailed as a hero. He asks his uncle, Durjan (Nitish Bharadwaj), to allow him to go to Mohenjo Daro to trade their family’s goods, but his uncle refuses. Sarman attempts to sneak away to the city at night with his friend Hojo (Umang Vyas), but is caught by Durjan, who relents and allows both friends to go. He gives Sarman a seal that contains an inscription of a unicorn that Sarman often sees in his dreams, suggesting he use it only once in a life or death situation.

Arriving in Mohenjo Daro, Sarman learns that the city is ruled by the tyrannical Senate Chief Maham (Kabir Bedi) and his wicked son Moonja (Arunoday Singh). He also learns that the unicorn he sees in his dreams is the symbol of the city, and feels as if the city is oddly familiar to him. While Sarman is trading, Maham proposes to impose an additional tax on the farmers so that the city may grow, but Sarman leads the farmers to oppose the taxes so that their families don’t starve to death. Sarman gains access to the upper city by showing his uncle’s amulet and meets Chaani (Pooja Hegde), the elegant and gorgeous daughter of the head priest (Manish Choudhary) Mohenjo Daro. Sarman is enchanted by Chaani’s heavenly beauty and charm and falls in love with her. Upon meeting, the head priest strangely appears to recognize Sarman. Chaani reveals that she has been forcibly betrothed to Moonja, Sarman’s enemy, who is cruel and ruthless. Maham discovers Sarman and Chaani love each other and that Sarman is the leader of the tax revolt, and so he challenges Sarman to fight Bakar and Zokar, his two champions. Sarman proposes that if he wins, Chaani will be released from her engagement, and Maham accepts the terms.

On the night before Sarman’s clash with Bakar and Zokar, the head priest reveals to him how Maham was expelled from Harappa for illegal trade with the Sumerians. Maham entered Mohenjo Daro as a trader and quickly rose to become the trade chief. Maham had discovered that the mighty Sindhu River held vast gold deposits, so he decided to place a dam on the river and divert its course to mine the gold. The wise Senate Chief Srujan (Sharad Kelkar), who is revealed to be Sarman’s father, opposed this, but Maham won the vote to build the dam.

From that moment on, he is regarded as a superhero, and must later thwart the plans of the evil Dr. Arya, who has a connection to Krishna’s father, Rohit, the protagonist of the previous film.

Its story is set in Kanpur and written by Dilip Shukla. Dabangg 2 serves as a sequel to the 2010 film Dabangg and is the second part in the highly successful Dabangg franchise. Dabangg 2 theatrically released in India on 21 December 2012 during the Christmases festival. It earned ₹583 million (US$7.7 million) nett in India within three days of its release to break the record of Ek Tha Tiger, another film featuring Salman Khan. It opened to mixed reviews, with praise for its performances, action sequences and music, but criticism for its script, direction and screenplay. Overseas, it was heavily panned, particularly for the objectification of women.

Dabangg 2 grossed over ₹2.52 billion (US$33 million) at the worldwide box office, becoming the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2012 behind Ek Tha Tiger, and one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. The film accumulated ₹1.55 billion (US$21 million) nett and was termed a “blockbuster” by Box Office India. The third film in the franchise, Dabangg 3, was released in December 2019.
The story carries on from the previous film— Inspector Chulbul Pandey— in charge of a local police station in Kanpur and resides there with his wife Rajjo, half brother Makkhi and stepfather. A boy gets kidnapped from a school, therefore Chulbul deals with the problem. In Kanpur, an assassin murders a witness who is about to testify against a dreaded don. Chulbul tracks the assassin down, killing him at a coffeehouse. The don is Thakur Bachcha Singh, a struggling politician. After several public altercations, Bachcha’s brother Genda convinces him to get rid of Pandey, threatening Chulbul’s stepfather to kill his entire family if Chulbul keeps on interfering in Bachcha’s criminal activities.

Genda harasses a girl, arriving at her wedding to kidnap her. Chulbul arrives at the wedding and asks Genda to leave. Genda refuses to comply and continues to insult Chulbul. Chulbul breaks his neck, leading to his death. In the meantime, his wife becomes pregnant, Pandey being advised by everybody to leave Bachcha alone for the sake of his family’s safety. Bachcha, promising to avenge his brother’s death, decides to do so before the election. He meets Rajjo and Makkhi while they are leaving a temple where Makkhi is shot by Bachcha, and Rajjo is pushed off the temple stairs. However, both of them survive, with Rajjo having a miscarriage and suffering a head injury.

Chulbul is enraged at the loss of his first child. He enters Bachcha’s location and kills all of his men. He fights him and gets him arrested, but when Bachcha tries to threaten him, he kills him instantly by grabbing a gun and shooting him with two bullets in the chest. Later, Chulbul and Rajjo have their first child, a baby boy. Right at the end, Chedi Singh’s photographer (from the first film, Dabangg) arrives, asking for a family photo. Shivam “Shiva” Bhardwaj (Akshay Kumar) is a small-time thief in Mumbai who falls in love with Paro (Sonakshi Sinha) from Patna, after pinching her hip and caressing it, to which she squeals. He tells her the truth about being a thief and resolves to give up crime because he loves Paro dearly. Before that, he decides to commit a large robbery along with his con-friend 2G, which would enable him to earn a lot of money so he can give up the crime life. He also “tricks” a woman on a railway station and flees with a trunk. This leads Shiva to Chinki, a little girl who was in the trunk instead of the wealth he thought was there. Chinki thinks that he is her father. Puzzled, he is forced to keep Chinki with him, as a police officer Vishal Sharma (Yashpal Sharma) keeps his eye on him.

Shiva fears Paro will catch him with Chinki, and he will lose her forever. He finds a photo of Chinki and her father, who looks exactly like Shiva, thus realizing why Chinki thinks Shiva is her father. It is revealed that Chinki’s father is Vikram Singh Rathod ( Akshay Kumar ), a brave police officer who criminals fear. While chasing a goon to find his daughter, Vikram gets hit by an auto, and his brain endures severe trauma.

After a few days, Shiva gets fed up with Chinki and breaks the tape recorder she uses to listen to her late mother’s voice. The next morning, he learns that her mother died. Feeling guilty, he fixes the recorder and becomes fond of Chinki, taking care of her. Unfortunately, Paro sees this and believes he has a daughter that he hid from her, and Paro leaves for Patna heartbroken. Soon, the goons who are after Vikram see Shiva. Thinking he is Vikram, they start chasing him. Shiva and Chinki flee for their lives and encounter the woman from the railway station, who tells Shiva to run. Shiva is soon surrounded by the goons. It is revealed that Vikram is watching the whole thing from the top of a building. Just as Shiva is about to get stabbed, Vikram jumps down, killing one of the goons.

Shiva and the goons are shocked to see the identical-looking Vikram. Vikram locks Shiva and Chinki in a cell for safety and starts fighting the goons. His brain injury gets worse, but he eventually kills every goon by himself.

At the hospital, Shiva realizes that the railway station woman is, in fact, a real police officer, Inspector Razia Khan. The officers tell Shiva that the man who looks like him is Assistant supridendent Vikram Singh Rathod, a disciplined and respected police officer.
