Indian Army Captain Amar Kumar lives with his father, Ram, and mother, Saraswati. Ram has been associated with top freedom fighters during India’s struggle for independence from the British. Almost all of these freedom fighters had taken advantage of their involvement and have taken up important positions in India’s administration, and these include Jagrathan, and Mohanlal. While others like Vaisakh Ansari and Ram have chosen not to. Amar goes to Delhi and meets Mohanlal, who offers him a position of personal secretary with Jagrathan. Then a chain of events lead to the death of Jagrathan’s pilot son, Surender, resulting in Jagrathan threatening to expose the powers that-be unless they come clean and admit their involvement. Then Jagrathan is killed in a vehicle accident. Before dying he asks Dr. Shabnam to hand-over a key to Amar. Before Shabnam could do so, she is attacked by two unknown men, and wounded. Together with Amar and Rafiq Sayed Jaffrey, they locate the key – but do not know where to locate the lock. Then Shabnam is attacked again, but Amar rescues her. Amar’s world is turned upside down when he is accused of treason, court-martial-ed, and dishonorably discharged from the army. Disillusioned by this, he decides to join the very forces that are involved in treason. And when he does he finds out that he is not amongst strangers at all.

Arun (Amol Palekar) is a shy accountant in Bombay who dreams of romancing Prabha (Vidya Sinha), but never gets past following her around without managing to actually speak up. While Arun twiddles his thumbs, suave Nagesh (Asrani) steps into the picture and turns on the heat, prompting Arun to take “love coaching” from “romance specialist” Julius Nagendranath (Ashok Kumar) to win Prabha back. One of the funniest Hindi films of the 70s – is a nostalgic favourite for its quirky take on pre-hypercongestion Bombay. The film established Amol Palekar as having an uncommon comic talent for playing mousy characters, a role he would repeat several times in his career.

Young and attractive Niloufer is swept off her feet when foreign returned business magnate, Wasim Ahmed, proposes to her, and she accepts. She is flattered by the attention and love that is showered upon her by Wasim, and things could not be better. But when Wasim decides to spend more and more time at work, is unable to keep appointments with her, and is always late, she get disappointed. Wasim is unable to even recollect their first wedding anniversary on October 18th, and is very late for the party later that day. Quarrels and arguments result, and Wasim divorces her by saying “Talaq” three times. A heartbroken Niloufer leaves his house, goes to stay in a Girls’ Hostel, meets with an newspaper editor, Afaque Siddiqui, and gets married. It is during their marriage ceremony that Wasim makes his first appearance. For he is convinced that Niloufer still loves him, and will eventually divorce Afaque, and re-marry him. He is aware that according to the Shaririat and Islamic Law a Muslim woman can be divorced, but cannot be re-married to him unless and until she has married another male, and is divorced by him by his own free will. But as things stand, Afaque is head over heels in love with Niloufer, and there is no likelihood that he will even consider giving her a divorce under any circumstance – unless and until he finds out that she having an open affair with her ex-husband.

Bharat Nagar is a city in modern secular India that is terrorized by a gangster named Bhika, who is protected by the local politician, Gulabchand Jhakotia, his son, Police Inspector Bhushan, and the D.S.P. Anand Saxena. When Inspector Gurdayal Singh accumulates enough evidence to arrest Bhika, he is killed. Bhushan then attempts to molest an activist, Asha, but is stopped by Vijay, her fiancé. But Bhushan kills Vijay and ends up getting killed by Asha. The Police arrest Asha and hold her in a cell without permitting her to meet with anyone including her brother, Aadesh. Then Bhushan’s position is filled with Inspector S.P. Jagdishan, who does attempt to bring law and order to this troubled city, and even permits Aadesh to meet with Asha. When Bhika kills the owner of the local newspaper ‘Bharat Nagar Times’, Jagdishan arrests him after D’ Souza’s daughter, Mary, comes forward to testify – only to get instructions for his transfer to distant Malegaon, and the immediate release of Bhika – who, together with Gulabchand, are now set to rule over Bharat Nagar – with no one bold enough to stand in their way.

Raj Malhotra (Akshay Kumar), Boney (Deepak Tijori), Sheetal Nath (Sabeeha) and Neelam Choudhary (Ayesha Jhulka) are four pranksters in their college. Raj is younger brother of Inspector Suresh Malhotra (Shakti Kapoor), Boney probably has no relatives, Sheetal is the daughter of minister Kailash Nath (Prem Chopra) while Neelam is rich heiress with her uncle (Anant Mahadevan) as her only living relative. Raj and Neelam are romantically involved.
Raj bets habitually and has not lost yet, but when he bets that he can extort money from Kailash, the remaining gang is sceptical. As per the bet, they make Kailash believe that Sheetal is kidnapped, while in reality they have housed themselves in a cottage outside Bombay belonging to Pillai (Johnny Lever). But when Sheetal is murdered mysteriously, the investigation is given to Suresh. Raj, Boney and Neelam try to clean their trail.
The group has escaped three fatal accidents. Suspicions arise whether the accidents were just macabre coincidences. Little do they know that the problem is much bigger and sinister than they can ever imagine.

Rajveer Singh is of East Indian origin and lives a very wealthy lifestyle in London, England along with his wife, former Indian model, Sheena. He finds her devoted but a little bit too possessive, and since they have signed a prenuptial agreement, he cannot divorce her. When Ricky comes to London for a photo shoot, he pays him Thirty Lakh rupees to seduce Sheena, Ricky agrees to do that as he is in debt. For this purpose Ricky is permitted to live in the Singh’s mansion. At first Sheena shows hatred for Ricky, as he had ditched her friend, Nisha, but she subsequently succumbs to Ricky’s charm. Rajveer then has a change of heart and finds he still loves Sheena, so he decides to pay Ricky Fifty Lakh rupees – this time to leave them – but Ricky refuses. Rajveer makes it up to Sheena by celebrating her birthday lavishly. It is on the night of the birthday that Ricky will be murdered, and this case will be assigned to Chief Investigating Officer Steve Bakshi – who has two suspects – Rajveer himself and the second one being none other than Sheena. Watch what happens when Steve decides to arrest Sheena for Ricky’s murder.

Thakur Suraj Pratap (Jackie Shroff) sees a young woman performing pooja at a temple, and instantly falls in love with her. He finds out that the woman’s name is Pooja (Ashwini Bhave), and belongs to a poor family, consisting of her dad, Ramlal, her mom, and a brother named Raju (Salman Khan). He approaches Ramlal for the hand of Pooja, and Ramlal is delighted to accept him as his son-in-law. They are married with pomp and ceremony. Pooja is very fond of Raju, and takes him along. At the Thakur’s palatial home, they are introduced to Jyoti ( Rambha) Pratap’s sister. Years later, all have grown up. Pooja has been unable to have any children, and Raju and Jyoti are in love. One day Suraj meets Vaishali (Shweta Menon), a stunning courtesan, and decides to make her his mistress. He disregards any advise against this decision, and even casts Raju away, and cautions him from having to do anything with Jyoti or his household. He even threatens to divorce Pooja over Vaishali. Unable to bear the shock, Ramlal passes away. Raju’s attempts to convince Suraj to let go of Vaishali are all in vain, as Suraj openly weds Vaishali, and asks Pooja to accept this decision or else leave his house. Pooja will now have to decide to stay with Suraj or leave him with his new wife.

After Arjun Sehgal and several other of his friends successfully pass their school examinations from Pune’s St. Conrad Public School, they decide to apply for admission in a number colleges but are turned down due to poor marks. They then decide to approach a rebel professor, Tariq Siddiqui, who runs an unaccredited institute, and agree to get together 100 students to get this college running. After an advertising campaign, more than 100 students approach to be enrolled – but Arjun and his friends are in for nothing but trouble – as Tariq unexpectedly passes away leaving the administration in the hands of an unruly alcoholic male, Devang; and Raghvendra, a Dean from another college, together with the help of the police and educational authorities are determined to ban this college once and for all.

Raj Malhotra (Bobby Deol) and Priya (Kareena Kapoor) meet by chance and fall in love. After marriage, they reside in Switzerland, where they meet an Indian couple: Vikram Bajaj (Akshay Kumar) and Sonia (Bipasha Basu). The couples quickly become friends and decide to go on a Christmas vacation to Mauritius.
All is well until Vikram begins to speak to Raj about wife swapping. This upsets Raj and a fight breaks out between them, and the four return home. A couple of days later, the two couples again become friends. On Vikram’s birthday, the two men get drunk and find themselves in each other’s house. The next morning Sonia is found dead, and Raj is accused of her murder. Raj manages to escape from court, and the Swiss police chase him. When he decides to confront Vikram, he finds the evidence to prove his innocence and win back his wife.
