It’s so important in marriage to let the little things go and let the pride go. Forgiveness is so important, and communication. Don’t major on the minors.

For the millions of Americans, like my family, who believe that there is a creator God who can be known personally, Christmas is a celebration of Jesus’ offer of love and forgiveness for all people.

We only learn at the speed of pain, and we don’t have others in our lives without forgiveness.

I read everything, but generally more fact than fiction – especially autobiographies and biographies. I’ve read ‘Long Walk to Freedom’ by Nelson Mandela at least twice on holiday. Every time, I’m totally awed by his vision, strength and forgiveness. I feel honoured to have got to know him and his wonderful wife Graca over the years.
