Shyam is of an Indian-origin based in Mauritius, where he is employed. He meets with attractive Rukmani, the only daughter of a wealthy Industrialist, and both fall in love. They get married, despite strong opposition from Rukmani’s step-mother, Renu, and her brother, Sampatlal. Rukmani, although educated and of modern outlook, is prejudiced against untouchable Gopal and his daughter, Radha, who are very friendly with Shyam. Shyam would love to be a father, but Rukmani undergoes an operation to stop any pregnancy, and neglects to take care of herself, and as a result there are complications, and she is unable to have any children. This widens the gap between Shyam and Rukmani. An embittered Rukmani finds out that Shyam is having an affair with Radha, and swears to avenge this humiliation, even if it means sending Shyam to prison.

Synopsis: Khamer Bhakt is a handsome young man, who lives with only motive in mind – trouble. One day he ventures into the private chambers of the Shehzadi Nargis Banu, and incurs the wrath of the palace king and his guards. But Nargis both have fallen in love with each other. She announces in the palace that she will marry a man, who will bring back her missing sister, Hamida, and Khamer accepts the challenge. He goes through an evil magician, and does rescue Hamida, but ends up making a promise to Marjina, a shape-changing snake, that he will only love and marry Hamida, and fulfill her every wish, or else he will be cursed for life. The palace and it’s people are overjoyed to see Hamida back, and arrangements are made for Nargis to get married to Khamer. Khamer now realizes that if he marries Nargis, he will be cursed; and if he marries Hamida, then he will break his vow to Nargis, and so the ultimate choice is on Khamer, as he has to decide what is best for him.

SYNOPSIS: Initially released in 2007 by Dharmapatha Creations, the film tells the story of Siddhartha Gautama, Prince of Kapilavastu, situated in Nepal, who lived during 6th century B.C. He was born on Vaisakha Poornima. The history of his family, the Ikshvaku dynasty, is traceable to pre-Ramayana times. Renouncing the life and responsibility of a king, Siddhartha Gautama sought a solution to human misery. Ever in the midst of the great Indian religious and spiritual traditions, he noticed what was most needed by all people: Dharma, and Non-violence. He sought a direct path to salvation. He was a lone pathfinder who inspired the religions that eventually spread to China, Japan, and to the United States and Europe as late as the 20th Century.

Sandhya (Raveena Tandon) has always dreamt of meeting her prince charming, a wealthy man, handsome, debonair, and dashing. An Indian spy, Arun Khanna who works in the army has information about Pakistani terrorists trying to create a deadly bomb using scientific researches. He is told that the army needs a girl’s help, of which he agrees. He soon reaches up with a poor shepherd, Reshma, makes friend with her, falls in love with her and asks her to uncover this task for him. She does so, but is caught and rescued by Arun. To celebrate her victory, Arun announces his engagement with Reshma. But at the engagement party, a Pakistani bomb explodes, disrupting the occasion as well as separate Arun and Reshma. Reshma is left paralyze in a hospital bed in Canada and is taken care of by a friendly doctor, Shaheen. Shaheen soon announces that she is getting married to her fiancé, Wahid and invites Reshma to her wedding, of which she attends. But when she arrives there she gets a nasty shock as the groom is non other than Arun Khanna. She feels betrayed by her love and blot by Arun as he maybe using young girls to not only maintain his position but get a promotion in his job as an Indian soldier.
