Synopsis
After the passing away of his mom, Raj’s dad re-marries a cruel and embittered woman, who subsequently gives birth to two sons, Kiran and Amar. Thereafter his dad passes away, and he is left in the care of his uncaring step-mother. He proves to be ideal and obedient son, so much so that he ignores her vile remarks and treats her as his own mother. He is in love with Savitri and both plan to get married soon. Savitri arranges for Raj to meet with her businessman dad, but Raj does not show up. Subsequently, Savitri finds out that Raj’s step-mother has passed away, and had made him promise to look after Kiran and Amar until they mature and stand on their own two feet. Raj accordingly decides not to marry Savitri. Years pass by, Kiran by grown up to be a professional, while Amar is studying. Raj hopes to see this step-brothers settle down before he can organize his own life – but fate has other plans and a lot more challenges in store for him.

Udham Singh was born and brought up in a Kamboj Sikh family in Punjab, India, during the time when the British ruled India. Enrazged at the massacre of over 20,000 men, women, and children at the hands of Brigadier General Reginald Edward Harry Dyer (Tom Alter) in Jallianwalla, (now known in History books as the Jallianwalla Bagh Massacre) Udham Singh swears vengeance. He sets about creating obstacles for the British, and is soon on wanted lists by the authorities. On one occasion he is shielded by a courtesan, Noor Jehan (Juhi Chawla). In order to achieve his vengeance, he travels to the United Kingdom, befriends the local Indians, as well as Irish Freedom Fighter, Irene Rose Palmer (Charleen Carswell). He kills Michael O’Dwyer (Dave Anderson), the Lieutenant Governor of the Punjab in 1919 who had authorised Dyer’s use of force, during a presentation at Caxton Hall in London. He is quickly apprehended, and jailed. He refuses to cooperate with the authorities, nor is he willing to accept that he is mentally incapable. During his trial, he is offered the opportunity to state his case for acquittal but his remarks were deemed incendiary by the judge, who forbade the press from publishing them. He was hanged on 31 July 1940 at Pentonville Prison in north London.

You can get more information about Udham Singh by reading the book of Utpal Dutt (famous ]ndian playwright, actor and director) – Aronyar Ghum Bhangche. The story tells us how he tried to assassinate O’Dwyer. It was first performed as a drama at Minarbha Theatre. There you can find characters like Alen Harlow, Margarette, Gurmukh Singh, and others who stood beside Udham Singh.

“Varsha Oberoi is an orphan who lives a wealthy lifestyle with her uncle, Jain Oberoi, in Bombay, and has traveled worldwide. Subscribe My Channel For More New videos: Naive and easily impressionable Vidya Bhalla (Aishwarya) would like her husband to be a dashing hero, one who is not afraid of anybody, one who can easily jump into a fire to rescue someone, one who is strong & romantic. She sees all of these qualities in Shiva Sathe (Jackie Shroff), the son of Havaldar Purshotam Sathe (Amrish Puri), whose only dream is to see Shiva become a Police Inspector. Vidya informs her dad, Prithviraj, that she has found her dream man, the Bhallas and the Sathes meet and get the couple formally engaged. Then Purshotam arrests the son of a M.L.A., and as a result he is transferred to the notorious Kala Chowki Police Station in Bombay. Upon arrival he finds out that the Inspector in charge of the Police Station, Saini, has been severely beaten-up by Billa Jilani (Mukesh Rishi) and is hospitalized. Purshotam arranges for his entire family to re-locate. Shortly thereafter Shiva’s brother-in-law approached Prithviraj (Shammi Kapoor) Bhalla and informs him that Shiva has become an underworld Don, he has severely beaten-up the existing don, Billa Jilani, and is busy taking haftas and bribes from everyone. Prithviraj decides to investigate, and he does find that Shiva has become a ruffian, known to the police, arrested a number of times, much to the chagrin of his dad. Prithviraj breaks off the alliance and accordingly informs Purshotam. Shortly thereafter another fight breaks out, this time Shiva is arrested, held in a cell for several days, then beaten up by his father and subsequently bailed out by a woman named Shanti (Dimple Kapadia) – a prostitute. Watch as events unfold and how Shiva came to be involved with a prostitute, and how Purshotam’s dreams have now become nightmares where he sees his son handcuffed, and in shackles, waiting to be hanged.
