The movie revolves around a village hospital built by a generous-hearted man named Choudhury Ramprasad. He has admitted himself in the same hospital as a patient. He is accompanied by the other patients, who include Ismail, Dayaram, Ratan, and the doctor, Sunil. Amongst the group of patients is a singer, who loves Shyama, an employee at the hospital. When Meeta, the former love of Dr. Sunil, who had recently been widowed comes to the hospital to admit her son, she meets Dr. Sunil and their romance is rekindled. In the background of the hospital drama is an ongoing election in the village, which is proceeding smoothly, but causing chaos is Ramprasad’s son.
