Ajay Chauhan lives with his folks and sister. He is enamored with Pooja, and wants to wed her sometime in the future. His dad needs him to land a position and settle down, and afterward get hitched. Ajay applies for a job in Bombay, and soon gets a letter approaching him to show up for a meeting. He goes to the meeting, and is procured. Charmed to see everything he could ever hope for working out as expected, he goes to offer his gratitude to God, and it is there a lady named Pratika Jetley sees him and advises the police that he is surely the person who had ruthlessly assaulted three young ladies in a college campus. Ajay repeatedly denies this, yet is sentenced to jail. Four years later he is discharged from jail, and discovers that his dad and Pooja had conferred suicide while his mom and sister are untraceable. He embarks to assemble his life and meets with a merciless police assessor, whose little girl was one of the assault casualties. It is then Ajay finds out about the conspiracy behind this plot to frame him.

MOVIE: Jung Da Maidan – ਜੰਗ ਦਾ ਮੈਦਾਨ

SYNOPSIS:
Jaswant lives a middle-class lifestyle with his sister, Laddhu, and widowed mom in a village in Punjab, India. He is friendly with Thanedar Kishanchand, and is aware that both Laddhu and Kishanchand are attracted to each other. He discusses this alliance with Kishanchand, and with his approval, arranges their engagement and also prepares himself to propose marriage to his sweetheart, Shammu, who lives with two brothers, Dharmu and Teju, and Dharmu’s wife. The village they live in has an annual Kabootar (pigeon) competition. Jaswant wins, but his competitor, Tarhu, is angered, provokes him by shooting his Kabootar dead and has his friend, a corrupt Thanedar, Succha Singh, arrest Jaswant, take him to the Police Station and beat him up severely. When Succha finally lets go of Jaswant, Tarhu and his dad, Jhaildhara, are unhappy. One day Tarhu molests Laddhu and she slaps him. Subsequently he sexually molests and kills her. Jaswant finds out that Tarhu was behind her death and kills him. Succha arrests him and wants to kill him in a fake police encounter, but Jaswant manages to escape and joins a gang of bandits. Jaswant attacks Succha and blinds him in one eye, and then after he molests Shammu, Jaswant kills him. Shammu joins him and also becomes a bandit. The Police Force in the entire region is put under alert and are on the lookout for Jaswant, who has now made a name for himself as a modern day Robin Hood, and no one wants to inform the Police about his whereabouts. Things take a turn for the worst when Teju starts to impersonate Jaswant and begins to loot and beat people up, as well as Kishanchand intervenes and wants Jaswant to surrender or else he may be forced to hunt him down and possibly even kill him.

Plot: Sunder Singh (Sujit Kumar) is to get married to his mother’s (Nirpua Roy) childhood friend’s daughter Sheila (Mala Singh). Sheila’s father loses his life in a heart-attack when he comes across the truth that Sunder is dead. Sunder’s mother gives shelter to Sheila and also loses her mental stability. This film is about the lives and travails of people living around a traffic signal in Mumbai. Silsila (Kunal Khemu) is the ‘manager’ of one traffic signal i.e. he collects the ‘hafta’ (protection tax) from each signal squatter plying his trade. There’s Tsunami, a little scavenger boy, there’s Rani (Neetu Chandra) a Gujrati girl selling ethnic clothes on the side walk, and there’s Dominic (Ranvir Shorey) a drug addict and the prostitute who feels for him. Silsila, who’s an orphan, reports to Jaffer Bhai (D. Santosh) the local goon. Jaffer bhai in turn reports to Haji (Sudhir Mishra) the leader of the local mafia. And the hafta, from each traffic signal and territory that Haji controls, seeps upward to the politicians. Life is routine, until Silsila and Jaffer Bhai get caught up in a chain of events which threatens the very source of their livelihood – the traffic signal itself. “Diljale is a story about love and patriotism. Captain Ranvir is assigned the task of apprehending two terrorists named Shaka and Dara. Upon arrival in the region, he falls in love with Radhika, the daughter of Rajasaheb, who also is a Minister. The latter approves of him, and arranges his wedding with his daughter. Before the engagement could take place, Ranvir finds out that he has a rival in Shaka, who was in love with Radhika before, and is all set to prevent this marriage at any and costs. Ranvir decides to postpone his wedding until such time he arrests Shaka and his associates – a decision that will not only pit him against well-armed terrorists, but also result in the abduction of a bus-load of Vaishnodevi devotees – which include Radhika and her Bua.
