Deputy John Cooper is known for his lawful ways in the Wild West.
His sense of justice is soon put to question when his in-laws are found murdered and the culprit caught red handed is Martin, his mute friend. John questions his own soul as to what to do, but he goes by the law which stands true in the face of evidence. As John is given the responsibility to transfer Martin to the location of his final justice, they are attacked by a group of hostile men. John would soon discover there are others who know more about the killings and want it to remain a secret.
