Synopsis-
This is a story of a do-gooder who fights in his own style against the evils in the society and wins justice for the less privileged people is the protagonist.
The story is about a criminal lawyer Lal Krishna (RK) who rescues criminals with his advocacy skills and kills them the next day. The murder mystery remains unresolved by the police. LK takes up the task of saving a group of young girls (medical students), who calls them Mirchi girls, accused of the murder of fellow student Chinthamani. A conservative Chintamani is ragged by them often in college.
Does LK succeeds in that, does he kill the girls like he kills the other criminals after rescuing them from the long arm of the law or does he discover something else regarding the same murder is what the rest of the story is all about.

A district collector, a judge, and a police official are all kidnapped in broad daylight. The kidnapper cocking-a-snook at the establishment, calling himself ‘Citizen’ and appearing in different disguises to get at his targets. C.B.I. officer Sarojini (Nagma) finally traces the common factor among the kidnapped trio to Athippatti, a small hamlet consisting of fishermen. But to her surprise both the village and its 690 odd inhabitants seemed to have been wiped away from the face of the earth.
The diggings tell a story of a mass massacre that must have taken place about a couple of decades back. ‘Citizen’ is finally apprehended. He comes out with his story of the gory happenings at Athippatti and how he, as a little boy, had been the sole survivor of the nightmare that gripped the village that day from the map of India, twenty years back. The entire village was wiped off including women and children by the three kidnapped officials because of their greed for power and money.
Ajith wants the citizenship of the three government officials revoked including their families as a punishment for their atrocities to the inhabitants of Athippatti.

Raju (Narain) works as a henchman with Bahiji (Dandapandi). Bhaiji adores him and sees in him his own bravery and extraordinary fighting abilities.
One day, Thiru stumbles upon Shalu (Bhavana), a local NGO, who fights injustice. A quarrel ensues between them. They soon realize that it was a meeting of heart and soon start to admire each other. Shalu works towards transforming Raju from an emotionless henchman to a lovable, kind-hearted guy. As a result, he and some of his gang members abandon their incorrigible life of gun culture and take up sales at the roadside hoping to lead a socially respectable life.
Shalu sees a changed personality in Raju and decides to marry him, with the consent of her father. But her hopes shatter after seeing Raju clumped away in a police van from a brothel. She gives up her plans to become Raju’s life partner. Notwithstanding the failure, Shalu’s father commits suicide. Shalu blames Raju for ruining her life and for her father’s death. Raju goes back to Bhaiji. Shalu decided to wed her own relative. Meanwhile, Bhai ji’s son falls in love with Shalu and wants to marry her. Bhaiji deputes Raju to bring Shalu.
Raju devices his own plans in an attempt to thwart Bhai ji’s nefarious plans and save Shalu. How Raju saves Shalu from Bhai ji’s and ultimately re-unite with her forms the remaining part of the story.
