Synopsis: Seema and Uma belongs to a Thakur family which earns their bread & butter through stage & dance performances and this leaves Seema disowned by groom’s father, right at the time of marriage rituals. Ashok, son of Diwan Saheb, marries Seema, then & there, to save their faces. Diwan disapproves this marriage and Ashok leaves his estate. He stays in a small rented house with Seema & Uma and starts doing odd jobs. Seema gives birth to their son, Munna. Ashok is diagnosed with an ophthalmic complicacy and need Rs.3000 for an operation which they could not manage despite many efforts. Seema writes to Diwan for money for Ashok’s eye operation. Diwan agrees on a condition that Seema leaves Ashok alone. Seema goes on to commit suicide but is saved by a man. The suicide attempt makes her loose her memory. She starts working as nurse at Dr.Balraj’s hospital. Ashok meets with a car accident and admitted to the hospital where his eyes were also operated. Uma goes to drop Munna to his grandfather and leave. But Diwan takes her as Ashok’s wife and asks her to stay with him. She agrees for the sake of Munna. Dr.Balraj wants to marry Seema but she gains her memory back before the marriage takes place. Ashok has his operation successful. He finds Seema at Dr.Balraj’s place. Diwan accepts Seema as his daughter in law.

Anjana lives a wealthy lifestyle with her dad, Dwarka Nath. Once she meets with local villager, Jhumroo, and both fall in love with each other. Jhumroo’s mother, Kamla, approves their relation. However, when Dwarka Nath gets angry on this and within no time announces Anjana’s marriage with his Manager, Ramesh. Heart-broken Jhumroo goes to meet Anjana, who tells him that she loves him, but can’gt go against her father. What Jhumroo and Anjana do not know is that she is not Dwarka Nath’s daughter, but is the daughter of Kamla, and abducted at a very young age. Are they really brother and sister? Watch the movie.

Roopa lives in a chawl in a slum with her alcoholic paternal uncle, who sits at home and forces her to go out to work, earn and buy alcohol for him. Her outlook on life is close to despair, and when she finds no work, earns no money, she is severely beaten by him and thrown out of the room. On one such occasion, a neighbor named Raj comes to her aid and even loans her some money. But that only lasts for a short while, and she is back to square one again. She decides to kill herself, but is rescued by an artiste named Ashok, who asks her to model for him. Soon they become fast friends, she even moves into his palatial home, and both earn quite a bit of money from selling the paintings. Then one day Raj re-enters her life, and it was as though her past had come to re-visit. She longed to be with Raj. Ashok is unhappy because of the competition, as he is in love with Roopa and would like to marry her. Roopa decides in favor of Raj and decides to run away with him, little knowing that Raj is only interested in her newly acquired wealth, which he intends to procure by hook or by crook, to repay his debts to a gangster named Advani. Will Roopa be drawn back into her old despaired life again?
