I have so much love and respect for the Indiana Pacers, for the NBA, for fans, because they do support us in many ways.

Fans
I've met so many fans of daytime television who've watched the shows with their moms and grandmas and feel like they've known the characters their whole lives. It's sad for them to have to say goodbye to their favorite soaps and characters. We don't want that to happen to the 'Days' fans.

I understand the fans, I respect them. I'll accept the whistling and booing. It's up to me to transform that all into applause.

They say fame is important and that maintaining your fame is even more important. But to me, the most important thing is to deserve the respect of your fans.

Most people compliment me on maintaining my femininity while I'm on the court. People like the fact that I model. My fans or little girls always say they want to play sports, but also want to be a model like me and I think that's great.

They read their sports pages, know their statistics and either root like hell or boo our butts off. I love it. Give me vocal fans, pro or con, over the tourist types who show up in Houston or Montreal and just sit there.

I think a fight with David Haye, even if he is not American, is going to give positive vibes about the heavyweight division for the American fans and fans worldwide.

We're moved by our fans. We feel their sadness and happiness. We're deeply connected.

Not everyone can handle success, but look at Rajinikanth. His films release all over India, his fans worship him and what not. But when I first met him, I felt like he is one of us.

I have no control over what the fans do or what the media say. I just do what I can – go out there and play hockey and have a smile on my face when I do it, just try to have a little bit of fun.

I really like the group tour better than going it alone. First of all, it kind of takes the pressure off a little. I'm not a naturally extroverted person. But I also like it because it brings in new fans. For example, someone who really loves Aprilynne Pike's books might pick up mine and vice versa.
