With the dismal performance of Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj at box office, first half of the year has seen many flops from Bollywood. In comparison, films from South have earned huge success at the box office. Films like KGF 2 and RRR have created records in overall earning. Movies from south have been phenomenal in creating good cinema like Jai Bheem, Karnan, Asuran, Joji, The Great Indian Kitchen, Jana Gana Mana and also box office successes like RRR and KGF2. Why is Bollywood failing in comparison to South. This week Cinema Samvad discusses this phenomenon.
