Hindi cinema is in disarray. Regional films have proved a laggard to Hindi films both in terms of earnings and artistry. On one hand there are movies like Pushpa, RRR and KGF which are earning hundreds of crores by getting dubbed in Hindi, on the other hand we have Hindi movies like Bachchan Pandey which are not able to move beyond the clichéd formula.
