This movie is based on the excellent story of author Nguyen Quang Lap. It’s about a complicated miserable love story among 3 people.
After Unification Day of Southern Vietnam, Canh leaves his unit in Northern to come back his hometown and visit his faithful wife – Thoa. Then, the truth is exposed, follow by many bitter sufferings.
Thoa quickly recognize that her husband has changed. Furthermore, her husband’ s second wife – Tam also finds him.
Their relationships becomes increasingly stressful so that Tam decides to leave. Thoa is very confused. Finally, she decides to do what her heart wants to do.
Thanks to charismatic content as well as persuasive performance of actors, this movies becomes one of the most famous Vietnamese movies in early 21st Century.
