This film is a sequel to the notorious “Mechanic”. Arthur Bishop (played by Jason Statham – one of the best actors of the action movie genre) retired and spends his days in a paradise on the planet, in Rio de Janeiro. However, his old friend Crane has his own plans for Arthur. In order to make his arguments more convincing, he sends a gang of thugs, and when this does not help, he kidnaps Gina (Jessica Alba), the girlfriend of his friend, and forces Bishop to return to his previous occupation – to remove three people protected by reliable security, impregnable cliffs and a sea teeming with sharks. The most difficult thing is to make everything look like an accident. One of the victims, Max Adams (played by the flamboyant Tommy Lee Jones), is a friend who shouldn’t be written off.
