Ashok (Rajasekhar) and Lakshmi (Meera Jasmine) are brother and sisters. Their father Sarvarayudu (Rajasekhar), who was a landlord of the village, and mother (Sujitha), die during Lakshmi’s childhood. Ashok and Lakshmi turn inseparable. Like any other girl, Lakshmi also falls in love with a boy called Aakash (Aakash), but makes it clear that she would love or marry him only with the blessings and acceptance of her brother. Ashok performs her marriage. He also Marry a girl called Nandini (Aarthi Agarwal) on the same dais. After their marriage, Aakash and Lakshmi lead a happy life along with Aakash’s cousins and sisters-in-law. In a gap of seven years, Lakshmi turns the mother of two daughters and a son. Then Nandini also turns pregnant but suffers abortion due to the intervention of one Kantham, who stays with her claiming to be her aunt. As Nandini’s uterus was also removed, Ashok turns childless and to please him Aakash and Lakshmi bring their children to cajole him. By the time Aakash returns to their house, his cousins cheat him and swindle the entire property. Aakash gets jailed in a cheque bounce case. Lakshmi and her children turn orphans. With the Kantham’s advice, Nandini throws Lakshmi out of house and warns her not to try to meet her brother. With no way to save her husband and her family, Lakshmi commits suicide with her three children and on hearning this Ashok also dies proving that they are inseparable even in death.

The narrator first declares-it’s a simple love story set in Hyderabad. Ismail Bhai is a boucher owning a chicken stall with two daughters. One lazy and one other who steals money from her parents. One of them is in love with a fellow selling movie tickets in black called Pappu, and the other in love with his Casanova friend Munna who teases women near colleges and bus stops. The problem is their father wants to send his daughters to USA, so he settles the match with two NRI canditates, Atif and Anwar, only they turn out to be pick-pockets who just finished a jail sentence. Meanwhile two local goons doing dirty business in town, Mama and Ajjuare having a gang war. Anwar and Atif belong to Ajju’s gang and Pappu and Munna turn to Mama for help. How they finally the girls, and how gang war ends is the rest of the story.

Pandiyan is a 1992 action Tamil language movie directed by the Tamil director SP. Muthuraman. It stars Rajinikanth, Kushboo, Janagaraj and Jayasudha in the lead roles. It was released on October 25, 1992. Its music was composed by Ilayaraja. The film released to largely negative reviews and was a rare box office disaster for a Rajinikanth movie.
The film was a remake of the Kannada film Bombay Dada starring Tiger Prabhakar, Vani Vishwanath, Vajramuni and Lakshmi. Prabhakar, the director and hero of the Kannada film, portrayed the negative role in the Tamil version.
In this movie, Superstar Rajini was called “Mr.Right” and all his t.shirts in this movie had the “tick” symbol. There was a short sensation among Rajini fans during this time as they used to flock to the tailor shops to put a “tick” mark embroidary on their shirts.
The film is about Paandiyan (Rajinikanth) who wants to avenge the death of his sister’s (Jayasudha) husband (Charan Raj), who was a police inspector. He would have been killed by Prabhakar and atlast Rajini kills him.

Chiranjeevi plays the dual roles of a Mumbai-based auto driver, Johnny, and an industrialist, Kalyan. Kota Srinivasa Rao playing the bad guy makes Johnny act as Kalyan and frame him for a murder. Later Johnny realizes that he ruined the life of a good man and joins forces with Kalyan. They pretend to be each other, in order to save Kalyan. But in the process Johnny’s girlfriend Divya Bharathi and Kalyan’s lover Shobana get confused. The rest is about how Johnny saves Kalyan from his death sentence.
