The Hollywood Shorties
THE HOLLYWOOD SHORTIES is a documentary on the birth of organized sports in the American dwarf community. Beginning in the 1950s and rising to prominence in the 1980s, the Hollywood Shorties were a basketball team, the first of their kind and unique in the history of dwarf athletics. Formed from an insular community of recognizable-but-typecast actors in—wait for it—Hollywood, the team began simply as a rare outlet for little people to gather publicly. As the team’s athletic skill increased, so did its membership and so too its popularity. By the early 1980s, the Shorties had created a niche in entertainment akin to the Harlem Globetrotters, playing exhibitions from Gladstone High to the Fabulous Forum with their signature blend of comedy and basketball prowess. Simultaneously, they found themselves the vanguard of a revolutionary movement to bring little people into the public eye as something other than objects of curiosity. But, in a bittersweet turn, the very popularity that the Shorties singlehandedly created would eventually phase the team out of the sport they pioneered. But their legacy stands without peer and is recounted here by original team members and the generation they inspired.

Baahubali: The Beginning (Hindi dubbed)
Raised in a remote tribal village, Shivudu grows up a carefree young man who relentlessly pursues his heart’s desire. This leads him on an adventure to a completely unfamiliar territory. On this journey, he falls in love with Avantika, a Nishada soldier. To win her over, Shivudu takes on the dangerous mission of rescuing Devasena from the tyrant King Bhallaladeva. Shivudu manages to free Devasena and during their escape, uncovers the truth behind his mysterious past.
A flashback unfolds here with King Vikramadeva of Mahishmati passing away suddenly, leaving behind an empty throne and an orphaned son, Baahubali. The kind and righteous Sivagami, wife to Bijjaladeva and biological mother to Bhalladeva, goes onto adopt her nephew and raises him as her own. This decision however, bears consequences; having to share his mother’s love and the status of a crown prince, Bhallaladeva secretly grows to be highly jealous of and hateful toward Baahubali. His resentment further grows when his mother chooses Baahubali as the King of Mahishmati.
After establishing that Shivudu is in fact the son of Baahubali and Devasena, the film ends in a cliff-hanger, leaving the audience wondering about the death of Baahubali. (CBFC UA DIL/2/67/2015-HYD)

Critically wounded and lying unconscious in a Mumbai hospital, ACP Yashvardhan of the Narcotics Control Bureau reflects on his life and his love-affair with Maya. With the assistance of the Commissioner as well as his colleagues, Atul, Kamlesh and Mahesh Pandey, and an informer, Arvind Shetty, he was able to apprehend drug-dealers in Kutch, Gujarat; Jalandhar, Punjab, as well as in Himachal Pradesh. Unknowingly, he paved the way for Vasu Anna Reddy to become the sole drug-dealer and invite his Mombasa-based brother, Vishnu, to join him. An encounter with the team kills Vasu, and some of the team gets suspended. A vengeful Vishnu decides to target the entire police unit as well as their respective families, and vows that he will not rest until he has killed them all. He starts with brutally killing Mahesh and his wife, Rachna, and then abducts Atul’s wife, Swati – with a motive of forcing the former to do away with the remainder of this police team. Bablu (Shah Rukh Khan) an aspiring chef, works in a hotel where Sonia Kapoor(Juhi) works with him as banquet manager at the restaurant.
