Synopsis:

Karz The Burden of truth in which Police Inspector Suraj is an orphan, who was rejected by his biological mother, for reason(s) unknown. Suraj has grown up questioning as to how any mother could reject her own child. He meets with Raja, and after a few misunderstandings, both become fast friends. Raja introduces him to his mom, Savitri, who welcomes and accepts him. Suraj loves Sapna, and hopes to marry her someday. Unfortunately, he finds out that Raja also loves Sapna, and decides to step away, and takes to alcohol. When Savitri’s mom meets prominent politician, Yuvraj, she recognizes him as a wanted criminal, Thakur, but Yuvraj denies being Thakur nor having any connection with Thakur. This leads Suraj to wonder as to what prompted Savitri to point a finger at Yuvraj. His investigation will lead him to his birth mother, as well as his biological father, and he will come to know why his mother rejected him.

Synopsis:

Pune-based widower Omkar Nath used to work as a Headmaster with a local school. When he was fired, his son, Deepak, hired a lawyer to sue the school. The school was represented by none other than Omkar’s live-in son-in-law, Vinayak Agrawal. After some years the Court finally came to a decision and the verdict was in favor of Omkar. However, since the school had no funds, it was directed to surrender it’s school bus in lieu of wages. Deepak takes charge of this bus, finds out it’s dilapidated and makes it roadworthy. He also decides to ply in on the Sonawadi – Ratna Chowk route, not knowing that his problems are just about to start.

Synopsis:

The film begins with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) IPS Amit Kumar (Ajay Devgn) taking charge of the fictitious Tejpur District (West Champaran) in [Bihar]. The area is notorious for its crime rate, with Tezpur Police under the control of the local don Sadhu Yadav (Mohan Joshi) and his son Sundar Yadav (Yashpal Sharma). Amit tries to instill honesty and courage in his subordinates, but in vain. Bacha Yadav (Mukesh Tiwari), who is a stooge of Sadhu Yadav visits his hideout, sees an infamous local goon Nunwa taking shelter there.

Fearing that arresting him would open the lid on the nexus between Nunwa and the Tezpur Police, he kills Nunwa and misleads Police that he was killed in an encounter. Suspicious about the encounter, Amit Kumar summons Bacha Yadav, puts him off duty temporarily and also tries to keep him away from Sadhu Yadav and Sundar Yadav. Anxious that he would be transferred from Tezpur, Bacha Yadav, seeking the help of Sadhu Yadav, visits his home, where he finds out that he is being ditched by Sadhu and vows to settle score with them. Meanwhile, Sundar manhandles a Public Works Department engineer for not heeding to his word during a tendering process. Amit takes notice of the incident and also finds that a girl is missing from her home after being kidnapped by Sundar. Sensing an opportunity, Bacha Yadav urges Amit to give him one more chance, who obliges him. Bacha Yadav tricks Sundar into a factory where Amit and his men are waiting and after a brief scuffle, Sundar is arrested and produced in a local court, where the judge acquits Sundar on the account of lack of evidence against him.

Rishi Oberoi (Fardeen Khan) is the only son in the Oberoi family, who is wealthy and owns a palatial home. Rishi is a womanizer, and often drinks. One day he comes across an attractive young lady, who he later comes to know, as Chandni Gupta (Reema Sen). Chandni is not impressed with Rishi’s advances, and ignores him. Chandni is employed with an organization, and is in love with her co-worker, Mohan Sachdev (Apurva Agnihotri). When Mohan and Chandni plan to marry, they are met with opposition from Mohan’s parents, and as a result Mohan marries someone else. Jai is a fashion photographer, happily married to Geeta. He meets Ria in Goa. He takes photos of her without permission and publishes them in the magazine. The magazine becomes a huge hit because of those pictures. Vispy wants Ria to model for their magazine but she refuses because she is angry at Jai for publishing her pictures without asking her. Jai manages to convince her to model for their magazine. Ria begins to fall in love with Jai. Her father (Suresh Oberoi) is really happy that her daughter is finally in love (he doesn’t know its Jai). Ria, to talk to Jai about marriage, goes to his house and gets a shocking surprise that Jai is married to Geeta. Stubborn and always having her way, she can’t believe that the guy she loved is married.
When a shaken Geeta asks for a breakup, Jai promises to change his ways. On the other hand, Ria is very possessive about Jai. She makes a suicide attempt, calls him in the middle of the night, visits Geeta in the hospital after injuring her and spins lies to sow the seed of doubt in Geeta’s mind. Jai, meanwhile, tries to hold on to his sanity and marriage. Geeta tries not to let the doubts and suspicions creep in.[5] Ria also stalks Geeta to eliminate her from Jai’s life forever.[6]
Jai finally decides to move out of the city with Geeta to pursue a peaceful life. Ria realizes this and asks him to meet her one last time. He agrees and goes to her house to talk to her father about her. Ria uses this opportunity to visit Jai’s house and tries to kill Geeta. When Jai reaches Ria’s place, he discovers that Mr. Jaiswal is not home and waits for him. While waiting he calls Geeta and hears her shouting. Immediately he rushes home and finds Ria trying to kill her. To protect Geeta, he lies to Ria that he is ready to divorce his wife and start a new life with Ria. He assures her that he really loved her all this time, only he did not realize it. Ria believes him and comes to him; Jai smacks her hard. She falls to the floor bleeding. Her father arrives and, after clearing all misunderstandings, takes Ria home. Six months later, Geeta and Jai are happy with their life while Ria is admitted in a mental hospital.

Raj Malhotra (Akshay Kumar), Boney (Deepak Tijori), Sheetal Nath (Sabeeha) and Neelam Choudhary (Ayesha Jhulka) are four pranksters in their college. Raj is younger brother of Inspector Suresh Malhotra (Shakti Kapoor), Boney probably has no relatives, Sheetal is the daughter of minister Kailash Nath (Prem Chopra) while Neelam is rich heiress with her uncle (Anant Mahadevan) as her only living relative. Raj and Neelam are romantically involved.
Raj bets habitually and has not lost yet, but when he bets that he can extort money from Kailash, the remaining gang is sceptical. As per the bet, they make Kailash believe that Sheetal is kidnapped, while in reality they have housed themselves in a cottage outside Bombay belonging to Pillai (Johnny Lever). But when Sheetal is murdered mysteriously, the investigation is given to Suresh. Raj, Boney and Neelam try to clean their trail.
The group has escaped three fatal accidents. Suspicions arise whether the accidents were just macabre coincidences. Little do they know that the problem is much bigger and sinister than they can ever imagine.

This love story between a Hindu boy, Rahul Sharma (Rahul Romy Sharma) and Muslim girl, Ghazal Siddiqui (Ambalika Sarkar) invokes the ‘Laila-Majnu’ track to drive home it’s legendary leanings. Unfortunately there’s really nothing much to recommend here save for a few lines of stinging thought-provoking dialogue. Rahul and Ghazal perform the Laila-Majnu play in their college and eventually fall in love. But the girl’s uneducated, successful land shark, father, Siddiqui (Mukesh Tiwari) is livid about the pairing and puts up hurdles in their way. An NGO, basically a website tiled ‘Love Guard,’ started by Arjun – a love-loss survivor, hopes to help and protect such couples achieve happily ever after. Rahul and Ghazal seek out his help but will that be enough to withstand the entire onslaught that Siddiqui has in store for them?

Synopsis:

Baghban film is a tale of a of a family where the parents (Amitabh and Hema) sacrifice everything to nurture their four children, only to be left uncared for when they grow old.

Raj Malhotra and his wife Pooja have raised a family of four sons who are now nicely settled in their respective professions. Their life is filled with love and prosperity, and all this has been possible because Raj has invested all his income including his provident fund and gratuity who according to him are his assets that would secure his future. But when he retires, life suddenly changes.

None of the four sons is ready to take their parents responsibility. To the extent Raj and Pooja then depend on the kindness of strangers. How Raj Malhotra through strife and hardship overcomes this turmoil and comes up a winner is central crux of Baghban.
