नवाजुद्दीन की ये सीख आपकी जीवन की प्रतिसोच बदल देगी Born19 May 1974 (age 45) इन्होंने बॉलीवुड में अपने अभिनय की शुरुआत 1999 में आमिर खान की मुख्य भूमिका वाली फिल्म, सरफरोश से की थी। इसके बाद ये राम गोपाल वर्मा की फिल्म शूल (1999), जंगल (2000) और राजकुमार हिरानी की मुन्ना भाई एमबीबीएस (2003) में भी नजर आए थे। मुंबई में आने के बाद इन्होंने टीवी धारावाहिकों में काम तलाशने की कोशिश की, पर कुछ खास सफलता नहीं मिली। इन्होंने एक छोटी फिल्म, द बायपास (2003) में इरफान खान के साथ काम किया था। 2002 से लेकर 2005 तक इनके पास ज़्यादातर समय कोई काम नहीं था। इन्हें रहने के लिए चार अन्य लोगों के साथ फ्लैट साझा करना पड़ता था। साल 2004 इनके लिए काफी दिक्कतों वाला था। किराये के पैसे न दे पाने के कारण इन्हें अपने एनएसडी सीनियर से रहने की अनुमति मांगनी पड़ी, और उन्होंने इस शर्त पर गोरेगांव के अपार्टमेंट में रहने की इजाजद दी कि वो उनके लिए भी खाना बनाएँ। 2009 में इन्हें देव-डी के इमोश्नल अत्याचार गाने में एक छोटे से रंगीला नाम के किरदार के रूप में काम मिला। इसी साल ये न्यू यॉर्क (2009) में भी दिखाई दिये। लेकिन इन्हें एक अभिनेता के रूप में पहचान अनुषा रिजवी की पीपली लाइव (2010) से मिली थी, जिसमें इन्हें एक पत्रकार की भूमिका मिली थी। 2012 में ये प्रशांत भार्गव के पतंग: द काइट (2012) में दिखाई दिये। इस फिल्म को बर्लिन अंतरराष्ट्रीय फिल्म उत्सव और ट्रिबेका फिल्म उत्सव में दिखाया गया था। इसमें सिद्दीकी के कार्य को फिल्म समीक्षक रोजर एबर्ट ने काफी सराहा था। इसके बाद ये फिल्म संयुक्त राष्ट्र और कनाडा में भी दिखाई गई और न्यू यॉर्क टाइम्स के समीक्षा से भी लोगों का इन पर काफी ध्यान आकर्षित हुआ। सन् 2012 में ही अनुराग कश्यप की फ़िल्म गैंग्स ऑफ वासेपुर के दूसरे भाग में इन्हें प्रमुख भूमिका में लिया गया और इस फिल्म ने इन्हें एक उत्तम अभिनेता के रूप में स्थापित कर दिया। #nawazuddinsidhiqui #successstory #bollywood
