Toothed trigger or tone wheels are commonly used on Crank angle sensors, along with a Hall effect sensor, to measure the engine speed and position. They are also useful in other areas for measuring rotational speed, like wheel speed sensors. In this webinar, we’ll look at how to model this part in CAD using Fusion 360, prepare the design for manufacturing, and explain why we might want to model a part like this in CAD in the first place.
