[Recipe] It’s really quick and easy to make tofu with a lightly crispy exterior and tender interior using an air-fryer!
Just concoct a delicious sauce using common condiments from the pantry, and mix it with the air-fried tofu for a yummy tofu dish you will go back to again and again.
Check out my simple recipe –
Ingredients
1 box of firm tofu (300g, recommend to use Korean brand)
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 a medium size fresh red chilli
Moderate amount of Scallions
1 tbsp Hot Cooking Oil
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 tsp black vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar (I used low GI Coco Sugar)
1) Cut a block of tofu into 9 even pieces. Add them into an air-fryer and spray evenly with cooking oil. Cook at 200°C for 15 minutes.
2) While the tofu is cooking, make a sauce. Pour hot cooking oil into minced garlic, sliced fresh chilli and chopped scallions. Add soya sauce, oyster sauce, black vinegar and sugar into the aromatics. Mix well.
3) Pour the sauce into the fried tofu
