Now, Missy is in town again to share her Pinwheel Path pattern. And guess what? It’s all half-square triangles made with one of Missy’s very own layer cakes.

Triple Play: How to Make 3 NEW 54-40 or Fight Quilts – Free Quilting Tutorial

Women couldn’t vote during the election of 1844, but they sure had opinions—and they shared those opinions through quilting. Supporters of James K Polk immortalized his campaign slogan, “54-40 or Fight,” with a quilt block so gorgeous, we’ve been stitching it ever since!

This week, the Doan girls are making three new 54-40 or Fight quilts + two bonus projects, each with a cozy, harvest vibe.

Jenny’s Harvest Stars quilt is made with precut layer cake squares from Gatherings by Windham. (Don’t miss that pretty, striped binding!)

Natalie’s Shine On quilt is made with Dreaming of Fall by Studio RK for Robert Kaufman.

And Misty’s Autumn Nights quilt is made with Kona Cotton Colors of Fall.

How to Make a Bundles and Bows Quilt – Free Project Tutorial

Download

Shop Bundles and Bows quilt supplies here:

Identical twin sisters Lisa and Lora learned to sew as children, but they never quilted. So how did they become top quilt designers?

It all began when Lisa signed up for a Block of the Month with a friend named Ingrid.

1000 miles away, at the exact same time, Lora also joined her first Block of the Month…with a friend named Inger!

“It’s a twin thing,” they say.

We’ve loved Material Girlfriends patterns for years. (Remember the Wallah quilt?) And this week, Jenny is stitching another of their designs, Bundles and Bows.

This quilt comes together quickly with the Hey Boo Halloween layer cake by Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics. (Don’t miss that cute striped binding!)
