An Alternate Explanation on Second Encounter:
Because I always stress about people understanding my explanation for the mechanics, I’d like to provide a slightly alternate explanation of the second encounter mechanics if the video explanation was difficult to understand.
Both you and your teammate will have 6 cruxes with active tethers, and 3 cruxes with no tethers.
Your goal is to find 3 tethered cruxes that are in the same spot for both you and your teammate. Designate one person to be “the shooter” and one person to do callouts. Callout person reads to Shooter so that Shooter can decide which 3 cruxes to shoot. Depending on the method you go with, you will either be reading out the untethered cruxes or the tethered ones. But either way, you just need the find the 3 tethered ones you both share.
Also, whoever is the one shooting does not need to make the callouts, they just need to listen and then figure out which ones to shoot.

How to Make a Record-Setting Paper Plane

Download

If you want to make the best paper planes, you need to learn from a master. So we asked John Collins, who set the Guinness World Record for farthest flight by a paper aircraft in 2012, to teach us a thing or two about the squash fold and perfect winglets. In this tutorial, he shows us how to fold three planes:

The Suzanne—the plane he set the world distance record with, named after his wife.

The Tube—a tube-shaped plane you throw like a football.

And, finally, the Boomerang—a stunt plane capable of circling left and right and performing loops.

Ready to fly? Grab a stack of paper, press play (pause as often as you need to) and fold away.

How to Conduct an Orchestra

Download

We’ve all seen a conductor standing in front of an orchestra wielding a baton. All the baton waving might look random to the untrained eye, but there is meaning in every gesture. Gustavo Dudamel, the conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, shows us how he guides the musicians using his body and eye contact.
