In this episode we are testing the spruce bruce out in a storm, it performed well, very well. Stable and warm, a few leaks from the alterations that were done, but I expected this to happen.

Also, the dogs smell a deer, first deer for them and they were awesome.
Also a primitive fire session using a bow drill and stuff

Primitive fire is challenging at the best of times, especially here in New Zealand as we have so much moisture and dry suitable wood is hard to find sometimes.

It’s a great skill to have but needs to be practiced for consistent results, as you can see I don’t practice much at all, as I usually take a lighter or 3 along on adventures.
