Learn how to make a silly sock puppet with basic materials and without the need for sewing or toxic glues.

Want to get more into puppet-making? Here are some of my suggestions for what to watch next:

– For more simple DIY puppet ideas from Jim Hensen himself, check out this lovely gem from 1969!

– Join Adam Savage (Mythbusters fame) as he learns how to design and make a professional style rod puppet from Rick Lyon:

– Adam Kreutinger’s channel is a great resource for detailed professional puppet making instructions. Here’s the first in his puppet building 101 series:

Materials needed for this project:

– Corrugated cardboard sheet (a bit bigger than your hand)
– Cardboard tube
– 2 plastic spoons
– Colored paper (or white paper and a marker to color it in)

– Disposable chopsticks

Tools:
– Hot glue gun
