First, I’ll bust the myth that video SEO is the secret to getting more views on YouTube. It’s not. Sure, optimizing your title, description and tags definitely helps. But SEO is not as important as most people think.

Next, you’ll learn how to find a winning topic for your video. Specifically, you want to find a topic that’s already proven to do well on YouTube. In many ways, this is the secret to growing a YouTube channel: publishing videos that people WANT to watch.

I also outline a few simple tips that you can use to optimize your video for audience retention and watch time: two key YouTube ranking factors. If you want to get 1000 views per day on YouTube, these two ranking factors are key.

Finally, I’ll show you how to optimize your videos for “SVO”. This is similar to SEO… but different.
