In this video, I will be showing you how to crochet for ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS. A detailed step-by-step tutorial on how to make the basic crochet stitches. In this video I will be covering the basic supplies needed for a beginner, how to make a slipknot, how to make a chain stitch, single crochet, half double crochet , double crochet, and triple crochet stitches.

This video will demonstrate VERY SLOWLY how to crochet the basic stitches. I will also go over on how to hold your yarn and hook, how to make basic crochet stitches and finally the comparison of the basic stitches.
This video is an updated version of my previous video that I had made in @Crochetcraft kiduniya . Based on the feedback I had received, I had reworked my earlier video and made changes and added portions that I had missed earlier.

Hook – 5mm or Size H

-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?

This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4×4 or 5×5.

-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc’ blanket?

Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
