Jeanette thoroughly enjoyed making and creating this guide, it’s a block which isn’t too tricky to make either so don’t be put off if you think it’s a complicated design, it isn’t! The pattern is for a quilt size of 70x70in. You’ll find a bonus lap quilt set of instructions to use making the excess strips to create a nine-patch design too!

Jeanette’s got a Christmas in July make for you today!

She’s using the Creative Grids Dresden ruler to make a festive ‘snowflake’ Dresden block!

Jeanette’s snowflake table runner measures 13.5 inches by 42 inches. For her example block here, she’s using a Woodland Winter Charm Pack:

Creative Grids ruler:

You’ll need:
(1) Charm pack of 5 inch squares
1/2 metre of background fabric
1/2 metre of backing fabric
A piece of wadding measuring approximately 16 x 44 inches
(3) 2 1/2 x width of fabric strips for binding

Jeanette was very excited to produce this gorgeous tulip themed cushion using a Moda range ‘Collections for a Cause’ pattern:

The fabric is a collaboration being Howard Marcus and Three Sisters and this pattern requires:
1 Collections for a Cause Etchings Mini-Charm Pack:
1 Fat Eighth Leaves/Stems Fabric – Grunge in Kelp (Jeanette used Seafoam instead)

2/3 Yard Background Fabric – Grunge in Eggshell:

1/2 Yard Backing – Approx. 40” x 20” Batting/Wadding Piece

1/2 Yard Inner Lining (for pillow finish only, solid or light scrap fabric)
1/4 Yard Binding (optional)

Recommended: 16” x 38” Bench Pillow Insert
