If youâre a trucker and itâs your first time behind the wheel of a Volvo rig, you might encounter a situation where the regen light pops up on your dashboard. If youâre feeling uncertain about how to perform a manual regen, then this video is just what you need!
Now, there are two ways to handle this. If youâre on the move, you can physically drive the regen out to clear that light. However, if you find yourself parked and need to stay put, you have the option to perform whatâs known as a manual regen. To access this, youâll need to use the steering wheel controls.
Look for the home button located on the right side of the steering wheel. Give that button a push, then scroll down a few knobs until you see the prompt asking if you want to initiate a regen. Simply select âyes,â and voilĂ , youâre all set!
