We all regularly upgrade our computer software – but have you ever updated your brain’s operating system? We all think, and all of the time, so how often do you spend time thinking about your thinking?

Freaky Thinking is the first new approach to thinking in the workplace in the last 70 years.

Freaky Thinking states that to stimulate our creativity we should be doing an ‘undemanding’ activity while we think about our issue – this is an approach backed by science.

Brainstorming is a dated and inefficient process for creative thinking, while Freaky Thinking is an alternative approach that can be used by individuals or groups in the home or work environment to identify new ideas.

It also aligns with the current trend in hybrid working which occurs in many organizations today. Chris is a designer, engineer, thinker and writer who has been ranked as a top ten Thinkers360 Top 50 Global Thought Leaders and Influencers on Design Thinking 2024 for the last four years. He is currently a lead service designer for Lloyds Banking Group.

An ever-changing world brings new challenges which require fresh thinking and original ideas to address them. I’ll share some surprising insights about the way you think and I’ll offer ways you can be sharper in your thinking around any topic—in both your personal and work life. These radical, science-backed approaches will change your mind about the way you think.
