Chili Pepper Bordier Butter 🌶️
Butter flavoring with Espelette chili pepper powder.
1 – The sweet churned butter is rekneaded on a frame in order to smoothen the texture and develop the aromas (the heart of Bordier’s know-how).
2 – Adding fine salt to the butter, reknead again to mix.
3 – Adding the chili pepper powder, very beautiful to see the colour of the butter changing.
4 – Modeling slabs by hand. These are sold to creameries and restaurants.
6 – Packing the slabs with Bordier label.
The machine is a butter kneader, invented in France in the 19th century. This one specially made for Bordier.
The butter milk is exclusively from organic farms.
