Learn How to Make a Cathedral Window Quilt!

Download

One of the quilts on my ‘to do list’ for years has been a nice cathedral window featuring batiks in some of my favorite colors set against a white background. This quilt was inspired by something similar my friend’s mother, a Quilter, had created and submitted to the Tennessee State Fair years back. In today’s video…I finally challenge myself to make the quilt I’ve been carrying around in my head for years…and I’m going to show you – step by step – how I did it!

There are many reasons why we get trapped by doubt so this video is all about OVERTHINKING. How overthinking can derail our projects and kill our creativity, but more importantly, I’ll have some strategies on how you can get back on track when it happens.

I mention this tool in the video: Alarm Timer Cube (amazon). If you use my link to purchase the item, I will receive a small payment that helps support my channel.

How to Make the Cutest Scrappy Quilt Block You’ve Ever Seen!

Download

Quick and easy DIY sewing project idea for beginners to make and sew a pillow cover. I’ll be making a beautiful patchwork quilt block pattern using small leftover fabric scraps!

This is also a great idea to recycle the scrap waste from your stash.

I’ll also be showing you how to use the quilt as you go technique for making this scrap quilt block. Some people also call it the Stich and Flip technique and what that means is you’re creating a complete pattern, ready to you, block by block of fabric.
