Here’s how to make easy homemade play dough!

❋ Ingredients:
• Flour – 1 cup
• Salt – 1/2 cup
• Water – 1/2 cup
• Food color or washable paint (optional)

❋ Tip!
Prevent food color from staining your hands by mixing the dough and food color drops in a sealable plastic bag.

❋ Baking Instructions:
Bake the dough at 200°F until hard. The amount of time depends on size and thickness. Thin pieces might take 45-60 minutes, thicker pieces might take 2-3 hours. Check on your pieces in the oven every 1/2 hour or so until they are hard. To make your dough harden faster, bake at 350°F, but keep an eye on it because it might turn brown.

To completely seal and protect your dough art, apply a clear or paint varnish.

How to Make an Award Ribbon
Learn how to make these award ribbon easily using supplies from out sponsor Offray! Let the games begin!

Supplies:
2 1/4″ Double Faced Satin in Royal Blue:
1/2″ Maggie Ribbon in Sapphire:
Cardboard or matboard
Cardstock
Glue Dots
Hot Glue or Carpet Tape
Rhinestones
Glitter
Pin back finding
Lighter or Fray Check (to finish ends)
Circle dies (optional)
Scissors
1/4″ double stick tape or clear glue

Directions:
1. Glue cardstock to lightweight cardboard (like a cereal box) and cut out circles the size you want the center of your award to be. Cut an extra for the back. OR you can cut the circles from colored matboard. I used circle dies for this.

2. Cut 9″ pieces of both ribbons at an angle for the tails.

3. Use glue or double sided tape to make a #1 on the cardboard circle in the front and sprinkle with glitter. Let dry if using glue.

4. Using hot glue adhere the end of the wide blue ribbon to the back of the circle. Keep adding glue and pleating the ribbon as you press the edge in the glue. Continue until you have gone around the circle.

5. Glue on ribbon tails. Add finishing circle to the back and glue on a pin back.

How to Make a Paper Popper! (Easy and Loud) – Rob’s World

Like This Popper? Check out a Paper Popper that Transforms to a Stunt Plane HERE:

In this video for my design, I explain how to make an easy paper popper (sometimes called a “flapper” or “banger”). This is a very easy origami model and can be a lot of fun.. and make a lot of noise 🙂 You’ll just need a piece of printer paper (Letter Sized 8.5″ x 11″ or A4 size) so grab one and let’s make it!

Extra Help: If your popper is not going off, please see both 5:30 for how to set up the edge so that it pops loudly and properly–and 7:30 will show you why it may not work if you set it too high. Make sure that you are NOT holding the Sliding Edge (Edge that needs to pop out) between the two corners! Otherwise it will NOT go off! Also: Be sure you are using regular printer paper as I find this works the best! Any questions, leave it in the comment section below!
Also: Check out this video: for a SUPER EASY Paper Popper Stunt Plane that is BOTH a Popper which you can then turn into a stunt plane that comes back to you!
