Today I have shown you how to cook kwati like my grandmother used to cook. Although I have added some spices in my own way but I have followed the method of cooking by adding the spices to the KASAUDI(our traditional cooking pot) and then putting them in the spices. This time, you can aslo cook Nepal’s old style kwati in Kasaudi and eat it. Enjoy and Happy Janai Purnima.
video is special for Janai Purnima. Also called the first festival of the year. This festival is also important because the farmers celebrate after finished their work on fields. Most important thing about this festival is eating Quati. Quati is a Nepalis occasion dish which will prepare with different kind of seeds. First nine or eleven different types beans are soaked and when it will sported afterwards boiled and this dish is prepared.

It is also believed that eating this dish will help to make body warm and bring new energy in the body. Similarly, the nutritious diet in this dish also makes up for the lack of protein in the body.
