Looking to level up your Christmas ham? You NEED to try this! I’m going to show you how to make the best pulled Christmas ham!
Tender, juicy and full of flavour….. This pulled Christmas ham has it all!
Here’s what you’ll need:
– 2 cups of pineapple juice (can use apple juice or other sweet fruit juices)
– 3tbs butter
– 2tbs brown sugar
– 2tbs honey
– 1 green jalapeno (optional)
The shoulder ham I used was around 2.8kg, I removed the skin and seasoned it with my Honey Soy Slammer and Steak Shooter, I then smoked it at 135c/275F for around 3 hours and then it went into a tray with the above ingredients, I covered the tray in foil and it continued cooking away for another 3 hours until it was probing tender around the 96c/205F internal mark.
If you don’t have a smoker, you can do this whole process in your oven.
