How To Make “Mahogany Chili”!

Recipe:

1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground sausage
1 box of Beef broth & 1 box of
Chicken broth
2 cans Red Kidney beans
1 can Black Beans
2 cans Diced or Stewed tomatoes
2 onions
1 entire bulb garlic
3 stalks celery
1 ea. green, red, yellow, & orange pepper
1/2 c chopped Mushrooms
3 Tbls Chili & Cumin powder
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 PKG Chili Seasoning Mix
2 Bay leaves
Dash each of Tabasco & Worcestershire Sauce

Brown meat & & put in a large Dutch oven.
Chop all veggies & brown in bacon grease. Add spices to the mixture & brown until a nice Mahogany Color. Add to Dutch oven. Add a little water to the bottom of the skillet & scrape off the drippings & add to the pot. Add remaining ingredients & cook on low about 6 hours stirring frequently. Can also be cooked in a Crock Pot.
