Homemade Chili Oil Recipe
Ingredients
• 2 tbsp chili flakes
• 2 tbsp chili powder
• 2 tbsp raw sesame seeds
• 3–5 garlic cloves, minced
• 3 tbsp scallions, chopped
• 4–6 fresh red chili peppers, sliced
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1.5 cups cooking oil
Directions
1. In a heatproof bowl, combine chili flakes, chili powder, sesame seeds, scallions, garlic, fresh red chili peppers, and salt.
2. Heat the oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
3. Carefully pour the hot oil over the ingredients in the bowl. Let it sizzle and infuse the flavors.
Use it for dumplings, noodles, soup, or anything you like. Enjoy!
