This movie set in the backdrop of Bengaluru which follows the life of Maalik who worked under two notorious dons.
The film is about Maalik who enters Bengaluru and soon rises above the ranks to become one of the most feared name in underworld. There’s also a small romance track and a flashback episode to add some emotional quotient to the film. The film has an interesting first half. Though, it goes a bit slow in the second half but picks up pace towards the end with the flashback sequence.
Adityaa continues to impress with some good acting, akin to his roles in Edegarike and the Deadly series. Daniel Balaji and Bhavana hold everyone’s attention with their cameos. The film has some interestingly shot action sequences. This is definitely worth a watch if you like films with a crime backdrop. Though, one wonders if just A certificate is enough for films that romanticize underworld.
