Synopsis:

Vikram (Jayam Ravi) is an honest cop who serves as the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in Chennai. He has a team of police officers namely, Sathya (Varun), Akshara (Akshara Gowda), and Prasad (Nagendra Prasad). He lives with his parents, elder sister (Sindhu Shyam), and brother-in-law (Prakash Rajan). His family sets up an arranged marriage for him with Mahalakshmi (Hansika).
Vikram is tasked with tracking Aadhithya Maravarman (Arvind Swami), who mysteriously robs jewels and money. He is also involved in drugs and women. Aditya uses a spell which enables him to switch souls. While interrogating Aadhithya, Prasad is killed by Sathya, who is possessed by Aadithya. When Vikram goes to shoot Aadhithya, Aadhithya switches his soul, takes the role of Vikram, and masks the killing of Vikram’s best friend by saying that Sathya and Prasad had personal vengeance. After coming to Vikram’s home, Aadhithya (in Vikram’s body) comes across Maha. He initially lusts for her but leaves her eventually to focus on his revenge with Vikram. When Vikram (in Aadhithya’s body) is surprised to find himself imprisoned, he explains to Sathya that he is not Adithya and escapes from prison. After escaping from the prison, Vikram calls the Chennai City Police Commissioner Rajkumar (Ponvannan) and tells the mishaps of events which occurred. Aadhithya overhears their conversation and kills the superintendent. Aadhithya says that he has a confession video which says that he blamed Aadhithya (Vikram in his body) for saving his father.
At the same time, Aadhithya (in Vikram’s body) unlocks Vikram’s police data and takes the video evidence of his father robbing the bank (Aadhithya in his father’s body) and threatens to reveal it to the public, but Vikram contacts Chezhiyan (Nassar), Aadhithya’s head in archaeology where he gets the manuscript which gives him his power. Chezhiyan thinks that he is being cheated and goes to Aadhithya (Vikram’s body), but Aadhithya reveals himself to be in Vikram’s body, and makes Chezhiyan his bait to catch Vikram while in the complex where Vikram was supposed to meet Chezhiyan. When Aadhithya tracks Chezhiyan, Vikram hides and talks to Chezhiyan, who says that Aadhithya’s power is only in his body (in which Vikram is) and in other bodies, his power does not work, so Vikram uses Chezhiyan to take the manuscript from the commissioner’s office. Aadhithya later kills Chezhiyan.

Synopsis:

Ranjit Rai (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) and Harbans Lal Saxena (Dalip Tahil) are two wealthy business magnates who despise the poor. Thus, they decide their children, Ajay Rai (Ajay Devgan) and Madhu Saxena (Juhi Chawla), will marry wealthy spouses. They try to break their children’s friendship with Raja (Aamir Khan) and Kajal (Kajol), who are both poor. They fix up Ajay’s marriage with Madhu and send Ajay to meet Madhu. As fate would have it, Ajay falls in love with Kajal instead and Raja and Madhu fall in love. This angers the two men, and they try to bribe Raja and Kajal into leaving Madhu and Ajay. When this doesn’t work, they try to get Raja and Kajal killed. When the children realize what their fathers really did, they refuse to back down, their determination set in stone.
Eventually, the parents play a nasty trick. They make the four lovers believe that they have changed their ways and are ready for their children to marry the person they wish to. On the way to Raja and Madhu’s engagement ceremony, the fathers have Kajal kidnapped. Raja saves her from being raped and comforts her. Meanwhile, without their knowledge, photos are taken of them. The fathers then show the photos of Raja comforting Kajal at the party. Taken out of context, the photos make it look like Raja and Kajal are being intimate with each other. Raja and Kajal are willing to prove their innocence, but the fathers keep them away. To make matters worse, Kajal’s uncle (Mohan Joshi) falsely testifies to the fabricated illicit affair between the two. In fact, Kajal’s uncle was paid to lie to Ajay and Madhu.
Ajay and Madhu break up with Kajal and Raja, and the fathers’ plan to create a rift between Ajay and Raja, once the best of friends, succeeds. The situation worsens further when Ajay and Madhu think that Kajal is pregnant with Raja’s child. They tell Raja and Kajal that they are getting married, which is what their fathers wanted all along. After hearing this, Kajal attempts to kill herself, but Raja stops her. Raja attacks Ajay and Madhu while they are in a car mobile. Raja pretends to show that he is about to rape Madhu, but Ajay saves and comforts her. The police beat Raja brutally and Kajal pleads the fathers to release him. The fathers agree, but on the condition that Kajal and Raja leave the country for good and that they would be killed if they ever did return. Kajal agrees and Raja is set free.

Synopsis:

Deven Chaudhary (Ajay Devgn) lives with his mother Suhasini (Farida Jalal) and 10 year-old only son Raj. Deven spends considerable time designing the perfect car, calling it DC — which is very futuristic and more advanced than any other car in the market — and registering its patent. The SUV car is said to have 400BHP and 500NM of torque, as well as making it from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds. He also looks after an older model car, handed over to him by his late father, and calls it “Taarzan”. He meets with Rakesh Kapoor (Pankaj Dheer) and his partners, who praise his design but decline dealing with him, as they do not want to give royalty as part of the deal.
Later, Deven finds that Kapoor and his partners conned him and registered his design under their name. Deven reports this to a police officer, Inspector Sanjay Sharma (Deepak Shirke), but the latter turns out to be on Kapoor’s payroll. Kapoor, along with his cronies and Sharma, attack and lock Deven in his car. The car is then pushed into the river, causing a bound and gagged Deven to die. Unaware of the truth behind Deven’s death, his mother decides to bring up her grandson alone.

12 years later
Raj (Vatsal Sheth) is now a 22 year-old boy, living with Suhasini, and studies at a college where he falls in love with a rich girl named Priya (Ayesha Takia). The young Raj now works in the garage of Kartar Singh (Amrish Puri) as a mechanic. One day, Raj discovers Taarzan and recognizes it immediately. He somehow pools money and buys it at a throwaway price, which was 5000 rupees. Raj wants to update the car that reminds him of his father Deven. Little does he know that with the car, he has also brought back his father, whose soul is trapped inside the car.
Kartar is moved on learning this and aides Raj in repairing Taarzan. Taarzan is totally revamped and Raj decides to rename it DC (as Raj’s father’s name Deven Chaudhary), to honour Deven’s memory. Here, Deven’s spirit possesses Taarzan and starts killing all the gentlemen responsible for the murder, including Sanjay Sharma. Since the car now belongs to Raj, he becomes a suspect in eyes of Inspector Khurana (Gulshan Grover), the investigating officer. Here, Kapoor returns to India after learning that all his partners have died. Kapoor is revealed to be Priya’s father.
On Priya’s insistence, Kapoor goes to meet Raj, but after learning that Raj is Deven’s son, Kapoor assumes that Raj has somehow found the truth and is using Priya as a pawn. Kapoor decides to kill Raj and take Priya back with him. Priya and Raj are both clueless, but Raj is shocked when Kapoor tells him the truth. Here, Taarzan comes alive again and in front of disbelieving eyes of Kapoor and Raj, jumps in the ocean to save Raj. Deven’s spirit now becomes visible to everybody.
In front of Raj, Suhasini, Priya, and Inspector Khurana, a terrified Kapoor confesses the crime. Khurana arrests Kapoor, while Deven says his last goodbye to Suhasini and Raj. With Raj, Suhasini, and Priya united, Deven’s spirit becomes free and he ascends to heaven, with Raj and Priya living a happy life afterwards.

Synopsis:

The film opens with flashbacks of Ghayal.Ajay Mehra (from previous Ghayal-1990), after finishing off his life sentence, starts a newspaper called Satyakam. Still dealing with the haunting trauma of losing his loved ones, Ajay manages to make a credible name for himself in investigative journalism. Working with a strange team of RTI activists, ex-criminals and ilk; and even stranger ways of unearthing and presenting truth, Ajay Mehra has earned quite a fan following among the youths, who finds his fearless and unforgiving approach in dealing with all kinds of sociopaths very inspiring. Among his die hard fans are these four teenagers who happened to have received bravery medals from him once. These four friends once out on photography expedition, accidentally record a murder on a camera. The footage turns out to be explosive as it clearly shows two of the city’s most powerful people involved in the murder. Well what happens after this is a series of twists and turns where the four kids get entangled and have to fight it out …

Synopsis:

Judge Somnath lives with his wife, three sons, and a daughter. Two of his sons, Vikram and Mohan are married, while his daughter, Kaamna, and youngest son, Ravi, are of marriageable age. Somnath had wanted his sons to be a doctor, police officer, and a Judge. While Vikram is a surgeon, Mohan’s a Police Inspector, & Ravi is now studying law and on his way to become a lawyer and then a Judge like his dad. This family does have a dark secret. Ravi is prone to losing his temper, so much so that he gets out of control, and has killed someone in his childhood. When Kaamna gets raped, the family are reluctant to tell Ravi. When they do they do convince him to control himself, while Mohan gets an arrest warrant for Vinod, Kaamna’s molester. Things do not go smoothly in court as the matter is put off for several months and then Somnath and Kaamna are killed in a bomb explosion. Now Mohan and Vikram handcuff Ravi on their balcony while they finalize the funeral arrangements, and when they return Ravi is no longer there. And then the killings begin…

Synopsis:

“Teen Thay Bhai” is the story of 3 brothers distanced by life and brought together by a clause in their Grandfather’s will, at an isolated snowed-out cabin. They battle love and life to win the most important thing: each other.[1] The movie is a remake of The Darjeeling Limited.
The story starts with an introduction of three brothers. The eldest Chixie Gill (Om Puri), is a small time shop owner with 3 obese daughters whom no one wants to marry and a nagging wife (whom he would like to send back to her parents house). He dreamed of opening a big cloth store in his younger days but their grandfather was not ready to sell their village land for the money needed. The middle brother, Happy Gill (Deepak Dobriyal) is a dentist who has only one diagnosis for any tooth ailment, shifting pain. As a result, he has no patients but a long line of creditors (whose teeth he has removed more than once). He wants to get rid of all his debts and open a big dry-cleaning shop. He was in love with Gurleen Kaur (Ragini Khanna) in his younger days when they got separated. The youngest, Fancy Gill (Shreyas Talpade) is an aspiring actor who wants to go Hollywood, but only gets roles in Punjabi cinema, where his habit of putting in disco and English dialogues leads to him being thrown out quite often.
On the death of their grandfather, by the requirement of his will, they need get together for 3 years on the day of his death anniversary before midnight at the cabin. If not, the property around the cabin (worth crores of rupees) will be forfeited. Also every year one of them has to take care of their grandfather’s ashes starting from the eldest and pass it on to the next younger on that day. For the much needed money, they somehow manage to make it through two years, but the last year holds a lot for them. Snowstorms, trespassers, foreign babes with drugs,etc. bring them close to each other and make up their differences.
The climax brings in a twist that wraps up the story nicely.”

Synopsis :

Aisha (Sonam Kapoor) is a young, rich, upper class woman who believes that she is perfectly suited for match-making – amongst her friends in particular. Her superficial lifestyle and match-making schemes are constantly criticized by her friend/neighbor Arjun (Abhay Deol), who advises her to stop meddling with the lives of other people. Soon, she has a new project – trying to make a match between her middle class, small town friend Shefali (Amrita Puri) and a rich business owner, Randhir (Cyrus Sahukar). Aisha creates various circumstances to make Shefali and Randhir fall in love. During one such occasion, she meets her aunt’s step-son Dhruv Singh (Arunoday Singh), whom she becomes attracted to. In the mean-time, Arjun introduces Aisha to one of his colleagues, Aarti Menon (Lisa Haydon), who is from New York. Aisha feels threatened by Aarti’s presence and is very antagonistic towards her.

Randhir organizes a river rafting camp for everyone, and Aisha uses this as a chance to get Randhir and Shefali to spend more time together. One night during the camp, Randhir takes Aisha for a walk and then confesses his love for her. Confused and taken aback by Randhir’s feelings for her, Aisha starts to doubt her match making skills. Arjun comes to know of the incident and gets angry at Aisha, criticizing her for once again meddling with the lives of others, and playing with Shefali’s feelings. Aisha tries to console a heart broken Shefali, who had previously turned down a marriage proposal in order to be with Randhir, on Aisha’s advice. As time passes, Pinky (Ira Dubey), Aisha’s best friend, starts to develop feelings for Randhir and eventually they are engaged. This causes a problem between Pinky and Aisha, and they stop speaking to each other.

Disheartened with her previous failed match making attempt, Aisha tries to match up Shefali with Dhruv. Shefali comes to know of Aisha’s plan and confronts her, telling Aisha that she never viewed her as a friend, rather as a project, someone who she tried to mold and fix. Shefali then declares that she has feelings for Arjun. This greatly confuses and hurts Aisha, since she realises that she has been in love with Arjun all this time. Aisha realises that she has been selfish and arrogant all along, playing with the emotions and feelings of her friends. She goes back to her best friend, Pinky, and apologizes for her actions. Dhruv and Aarthi get engaged, but Aisha chooses not to attend since she thinks that Arjun will be there with Shefali. After a late night conversation with her father, Aisha decides spontaneously to go to the engagement and declare her feelings to Arjun. She meets Shefali, who tells her that love cannot be forced or planned, and also reveals that she has found her love in Saurabh, her childhood friend whose proposal she had previously turned down. Later that night, Arjun and Aisha meet and reminisce about their childhood and friendship, and ultimately declare their love for each other. The movie ends one year later, at Dhruv and Aarthi’s wedding, where Aisha states that love is spontaneous and never goes according to plan.
