Jodhaa (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), the daughter of Raja Bharmal (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) of Amer, is betrothed to Rajkumar Ratan Singh of Ajabgarh. Raja Bharmal announces that his son Bhagwant Das would be his heir and Sujamal (Sonu Sood), Jodhaa’s cousin, whom she wants to be the king’s heir instead of Bhagwant Das, will have to work under him. Sujamal, who is deprived of his rightful throne, angrily leaves the kingdom to join rebels. When the Mughal Emperor Akbar (Hrithik Roshan) plans to attack Amer, Raja Bharmal reluctantly makes a peace offering, proposing to strengthen relations by his daughter’s marriage to the emperor himself to avoid war. Akbar agrees to the marriage, as it would bring forward a true strong alliance and long lasting peace between the Mughals and Rajputs. But, this breaks the alliance of Raja Bharmal with the other kings of Rajputana, including Rana Uday Singh. Jodhaa completely resents being reduced to a mere political pawn as she wants to marry Ratan Singh. She writes a letter to Sujamal, entreating him to come rescue her from the marriage, but doesn’t send it. Jodhaa shares all her misery with her mother, who tells her to send a servant girl in her place.

Jodhaa replies that it would deceive Akbar and would be death to their kingdom if he finds out. Her mother gives her a vial of poison and tells her to use it if a need arises. Jodhaa demands a meeting with Akbar and demands to keep her Hindu religion after marriage, and that a temple be built for her to continue her faith,[10] with the intention of having the emperor call off the wedding. To her surprise, Akbar agrees to all her demands. After their marriage, Jodhaa acts reluctant with Akbar and they do not consummate their marriage. He assures Jodhaa that they will let things fall into place. Over time, both Jodhaa and Akbar learn from and gain admiration for each other.

Akbar’s nurse and nanny, Maham Anga, whom he loves like his own mother, despises Jodhaa and conspires to humiliate her in front of Akbar. She finds the letter Jodhaa had written and has it sent, and when Sujamal comes to meet Jodhaa in private, she insinuates to Akbar that Jodhaa went to meet her lover. Akbar sends his men to arrest Sujamal, who thinks Jodhaa has framed him, and immediately flees. Akbar is enraged and banishes Jodhaa. Jodhaa doesn’t give an explanation, indignant at her character being questioned.

Phantom is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Kabir Khan, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, and starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in leading roles.[2] The screenplay of the film was written in coordination with author Hussain Zaidi’s book Mumbai Avengers on the aftermath of 26/11 Mumbai attacks.[3] The film was released worldwide on 28 August 2015 to mixed reviews.[4]

The film begins with a car chase in Chicago, which leads to a scuffle between a man ostensibly named Jude Rosario and an American male known as Matthew Brody. The scuffle ends with Brody falling into the icy waters of Chicago River, and his body missing. This results in Rosario being arrested and convicted of murder.

A flashback to six months prior shows the office of the Indian RAW chief Roy (Sabyasachi Chakraborty), where he and his trusted men (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) plan a daring covert operation. The man, known as Jude Rosario in the opening sequence, is shown to be Captain Daniyal Khan, a dead-end ex-soldier with a completely deadpan sense of life and death who is pulled out of oblivion and pressed into service by the spy agency to wreak vengeance on the men who planned the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. He agrees on the assurance that he will be reinstated in the Indian army to the same rank from which he was court-martialled, which meant regaining the respect of his estranged father, retd. Col. Usman Khan, and mentor, Dilawar Singh. His only team member, Nawaz Mistry (Katrina Kaif) helps him find his first target Sajid Mir at a cricket match in London. On reaffirming his identity after breaking into his apartment, Daniyal rigs up an explosion which kills Sajid, which makes the headlines explaining it was accidental, resulting in an investigation by the Pakistani ISI.

In the present day, Daniyal aka Jude has landed in the same jail as David Headley, his next target. He contacts Nawaz in order to acquire money to buy a battery, as a replacement for another one which holds a certain poison. The poison, (succinylcholine), is untraceable as it can kill a person when it touches the tongue, causing a heart attack. After killing Headley by plugging the poisonous battery into a showerhead he usually uses, Brody, who supposedly died upon falling in the river, is found alive and Daniyal is released as his earlier sentence is rendered null and void. Meanwhile, ISI agents gather information about him.

Daniyal and Nawaz travel to Syria via Lebanon, to get in touch with the fighters of Lashkar-e-Toiba. There, Daniyal is held captive by the L-e-T and is forced into revealing the purpose of killing Sajid Mir and David Headley, on camera. The chief of L-e-T in Syria tries his best to send the video of Daniyal’s confession to ISI, but the war-torn situation of Syria has led to a mass disruption of communication networks. Nawaz, with her team of soldiers, kills the subordinates of L-e-T, much to the chagrin of Daniyal. Subsequently, Daniyal, Nawaz and the team escape from the clutches of the L-e-T after a bloody gunfight. Daniyal manages to kill the Syrian chief of L-e-T, just before he is about to send the video to the ISI, and destroys the recordings. Subsequently, the ISI kills the Indian Consulate General of Jordan, Mr. Rajan Sampath in a gas explosion, similar to the killing of Sajid Mir, as a revenge attack. The RAW chief Roy reprimands Daniyal for unnecessarily killing someone who was not meant to be killed and asks him to call off the mission. Nawaz encourages Daniyal to carry on the mission to avenge the 2008 Mumbai Attacks by killing the direct people who orchestrated the whole mission. She offers to take him and herself to Pakistan.

Daniyal and Nawaz, through Syria, go to Pakistan to take down the last two perpetrators, Sahabuddin Umvi and Haaris Saeed.

The wise Senate Chief Srujan (Sharad Kelkar), who is revealed to be Sarman’s father, opposed this, but Maham won the vote to build the dam.

Baaghi (transl. Rebel) is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. A remake of the 2004 Telugu film Varsham,[2] with a climax inspired by the 2011 Indonesian film The Raid: Redemption, the film stars Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles and Sudheer Babu in his Hindi debut, with Sunil Grover in a supporting role.[3][4]

Baaghi was released worldwide on 29 April 2016. Made on a budget of ₹370 million (US$5.2 million), the film earned over ₹1.27 billion (US$18 million) worldwide.[5] Later on, it spawned two spiritual sequels, Baaghi 2 (2018) and Baaghi 3 (2020), thus becoming the first installment in the Baaghi film series.
The film starts with martial arts champion and Dreaded Gangster Raghav Shetty (Sudheer Babu) force-abducting Sia Khurana (Shraddha Kapoor) from her film’s set in Hyderabad and taking her to Bangkok. Sia’s father, P.P. Khurana (Sunil Grover), along with the producer Dasanna, goes to government offices and the police for help, but no one is ready to assist them since Raghav is an influential man and there is no extradition treaty between India and Thailand in existence. Khurana then suggests to Dasanna that Sia’s ex-boyfriend, Ranveer ‘Ronnie’ Pratap Singh (Tiger Shroff), is the only perfect choice left for the job. Initially hesitant, Ronnie agrees to do so, since he needs money to treat Subbu, a mute young boy who is being treated for his vocal chords.

In a flashback, Ronnie and Sia meet on a train. Raghav sees Sia at the train station and starts to like her. He tells his men to get information about her. Ronnie visits the martial arts school of a certain Guruswamy, Raghav’s father, in Kollam, Kerala. In a letter to Guruswamy, Ronnie’s father, Samarjit Singh (Arun Bali), who happens to be his ex-batchmate from the army, explains that Ronnie is a rebel and asks him to make Ronny a good human being. Ronnie and Sia fall in love, and Sia gives him a ring she got from her father, asking him always to keep it. Raghav asks for Sia’s hand from Khurana, and Khurana is lost by greed when he sees how much money Raghav offers for Sia. He agrees to hand Sia over to Raghav, but when he sees that Ronnie has Sia’s ring, he realizes she is in love with Ronnie. He informs Raghav, who decides to kill Ronnie.

Guruswamy overhears his son Raghav’s words about killing Ronnie and refuses to let him do so; Raghav, feeling humiliated, poisons and kills him to get him out of the way. Ronnie beats up Raghav’s men when they manhandle Subbu, who Ronnie is close to, only for Raghav to get him arrested later on after he is seen mourning for Guruswamy, who he had begun seeing as a father-figure. Khurana then creates a misunderstanding between Sia and Ronnie to separate them, which works, and the two part ways.

In the present, Ronnie reaches Bangkok and visits Raghav’s fight club, beating the most potent fighter there to get Raghav’s attention. The next day, Ronnie breaks into the house of Raghav’s right-hand man, Biju, and holds Biju’s wife at gunpoint, forcing him to reveal Sia’s location. Finding out she was at the local hospital, Ronnie saves Sia and escapes with her under both of them being disguised as a doctor and nurse. The two stop at an island on their way back to India, where Sia discovers her father’s deceit when she sees that Ronnie is still wearing her ring. The couple reconciles, but Raghav and his men attack them. Biju shoots Ronnie, who falls off a cliff.

Raghav takes Sia back to his place. It is then revealed that Ronnie is alive. It turns out that Biju had used blank bullets in his gun, sparing him as Ronnie had spared his wife’s life earlier. Biju claims he spared Ronnie as he believed him to be right, but Raghav slits his throat.

Ronnie storms Raghav’s building and single-handedly fights off all of the killers and swordsmen in Raghav’s employ. He reaches Raghav, who initially overpowers him, but when Raghav reveals that he was the one who murdered Guruswamy, Ronnie becomes enraged and uses Guruswamy’s signature moves to kill Raghav. In the end, Ronnie, now happily together with Sia, becomes the new teacher in Guruswamy’s school, where a statue of Guruswamy now stands.
