The movie begins with a group of first year college students in the Mechanical Engineering department having a gala time. Bhagavat Singh aka Bhajji, a Punjabi who loves Tamil and its culture joins them and soon becomes their leader. Shocking tragedies strike, the culmination of which is the boys find themselves in prison accused of a murder. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
