Released in 2011, the Telugu-language film Dookudu, dubbed in Hindi as The Real Tiger, is an action-comedy film directed by Srinu Vaitla and produced by Gopichand Achanta, Ram Achanta, and Anil Sunkara. The film masterfully blends emotions, romance, and comedy, keeping viewers engaged until the end. Ajay (Mahesh Babu) is a brilliant and brave young police officer in Mumbai, known for his relentless pursuit of the mafia led by Nayak Bhai (Sonu Sood) and his brother. Numerous confrontations take place between Ajay and the mafia, eventually leading him to Turkey, where he mistakenly meets Prashanthi (Samantha), a chance encounter that blossoms into love. Later, Ajay discovers that she is the daughter of his superior officer, Nasir.
As the story unfolds, another aspect of Ajay’s life emerges when his father, Shankar Narayan (Prakash Raj), wakes up from a long coma. Shankar’s condition was the result of an accident, but he was once a powerful, honorable leader and a staunch supporter of Senior NTR. He lived for the welfare of his people and expects Ajay to follow the same principles.
Ajay fears that if his father’s expectations aren’t met, Shankar Narayan may fall back into a coma. To prevent this, Ajay and his friends devise a plan to keep his father happy. अजय (महेश बाबू) मुंबई पुलिस में बहुत ही स्मार्ट युवा पुलिस ऑफिसर है। वह साहसी और तेज तर्रार है और मुंबई माफिया का बड़े पैमाने पर पीछा करता है। माफिया का नेतृत्व नायक भय (सोनू सूद) और उसका भाई करता है। पुलिस और माफिया के बीच की झड़प और टकराव होते रहते हैं, जिसका पीछा कर अजय तुर्की चला जाता है और यहीं पर उसे किसी गलतफहमी में प्रशांति (सामंथा) से मुलाकात होता है, और ये छोटा-मोटा झंगड़ा प्यार में बदल जाता है। बाद में अजय को पता चलता है कि ये उससे सुपिरिअर ऑफिसर नासिर की बेटी है।
