His friends call him simply by his patronymic — Borisych. One day, Borisych comes across a boy in his neighborhood called Viktor Stroev who clumsily tries to fight back against his bullies. Borisych takes Viktor under his patronage and invites him to his classes assuring the kid that sambo is not about throwing hands. Years pass. Borisych still coaches, now not only beginner sambo athletes but also a future world champion. Viktor Stroev, his trainee, is now an MMA rising star, the Russian Hammer, as his fans call him. Viktor has just finished a flawless winning streak at the World Championship. It’s a start of a great career.
