DK is a Kannada comedy film released in 2015, which has been dubbed in Hindi. Directed by Vijay Kampali, also known as Uday Prakash, who is known for directing Kalla Malla Sulla and Auto Raja, the film stars Prem, Chaitra Chandranath, and Sharath Lohitashwa in lead roles. Additionally, the movie features an item song, “Sesamma,” filmed on Sunny Leone, marking her debut in Kannada cinema.
The story of DK begins at Sanjeevini Hospital, where Shiv Gowda (Sharath Lohitashwa) is disappointed instead of being happy about the birth of his son. On the other hand, AP Nityanand Brahma Swami is a fraudulent baba who deceives people with his prophecies. Shiv Gowda’s three sons hold no value for him as he desires a daughter. Subbulakshmi (Chaitra Chandranath), a pampered politician’s daughter, is arrogant and loves to win every challenge. Enter DK (Prem), a notorious college boy. A clash of egos ensues between DK and Subbulakshmi, leading to hilarious situations as they try to outdo each other. The comedy escalates, and their rivalry eventually turns into romance. फिल्म ‘डीके’ 2015 में रिलीज हुए एक कन्नड़ कॉमेडी फिल्म है, जिसे हिंदी में डब किया गया है इसके डायरेक्टर विजय कंपाली है, जिन्हे उदय प्रकाश के नाम से जाना जाता था और जिन्होंने कल्ला मल्ला सुल्ला और ऑटो राजा का भी डायरेक्ट किया था। इसमें प्रेम, चैत्र चंद्रनाथ और शरत लोहिताश्वा लीड रोल में नज़र आये है। इसके अलावा फिल्म में एक आइटम सॉन्ग है ‘सेशम्मा’ जिसे सनी लियोन पर फिल्माया गया है। कहते हैं कि यह इस फिल्म से उनकी कन्नड़ फिल्म की शुरुआत हुई।
डीके फिल्म की कहानी शुरूआत संजीविनी हॉस्पिटल से होता है जहां शिव गोड़ा (शरथ लोहितश्वा) को लड़का पैदा होता है, लेकिन खुशी की जगह उसे निराशा होतीहै। दूसरी तरफ एपी नित्यानंद ब्रह्मा स्वामी ऐसे डोंगी बाबा है, जो भविष्य़वाणी के नाम पर लोगों चुना लगाता है। बेटी की चाह में शिव गोड़ा के लिए तीनों बेटों की कोई वैल्यू नहीं। राजनीति की लाडली होने का सुब्बुलक्ष्मी (चैत्र चंद्रनाथ) को बहुत घमंड है और ऐसी नचड़ी लड़की जो हर शर्त को जीतना पसंद करती है। वहीं एंट्री होती है डीके (प्रेम) जो कॉलेज का दंबग लड़का है। जहां डीके (प्रेम) और सुब्बुलक्ष्मी (चैत्र चंद्रनाथ) दोनों की किसी बात को लेकर अनबन होती है। दोनों एक-दूसरे को सही साबित करने के लिए एक-दूसरे की टांग खिचते हैं। और फिर शुरु होता है कॉमेडी का धमाल…जिसे देख आपका पेट भी हंसते-हंसते फुल जाए….कहानी
