Samundar is an Indian romantic action film starring Sunny Deol, Poonam Dhillon, Anupam Kher and Amrish Puri. Film is directed by Rahul Rawail and produced by Mushir-Riaz. The film was released in 1986.
Synopsis:
An honest police inspector (Navin Nischal) is killed by Raiszada Narsingh (Amrish Puri) and his henchman, Dhansukh (Paresh Rawal). Raiszada frames Rajeshwarnath (Anupam Kher) for this killing, and brings up the son of the police inspector, Ajit (Sunny Deol), so that Ajit can avenge his father’s death by killing Rajeshwarnath. Raiszada wants the now grown-up Ajit to fall for beautiful Nisha (Roshni), but Ajit gives his heart to Anjali (Poonam Dhillon), who is the sister-in-law of none other than Rajeshwarnath. With Rajeshwar all set to clear his sentence, he will have to face the contained wrath of Ajit, and of the plan Raiszada and his men have for him.

समुंदर एक भारतीय रोमांटिक एक्शन फिल्म है जिसमें सनी देओल, पूनम ढिल्लों, अनुपम खेर और अमरीश पुरी ने अभिनय किया है। फिल्म का निर्देशन राहुल रवैल ने किया है और इसे मुशीर-रियाज़ ने प्रोड्यूस किया है। यह फिल्म 1986 में रिलीज़ हुई थी।
कहानी:
एक ईमानदार पुलिस इंस्पेक्टर (नवीन निशचल) को रईसजादा नरसिंह (अमरीश पुरी) और उसके साथी धंसुख (परवेश रावल) द्वारा मार दिया जाता है। रईसजादा इस हत्या के लिए राजेश्वरनाथ (अनुपम खेर) को फंसा देता है और पुलिस इंस्पेक्टर के बेटे अजित (सनी देओल) को पालता है ताकि अजित अपने पिता की मौत का बदला राजेश्वरनाथ को मारकर ले सके। रईसजादा चाहता है कि अब बड़ा हो चुका अजित खूबसूरत निशा (रोशनी) के प्यार में पड़ जाए, लेकिन अजित अपना दिल अंजलि (पूनम ढिल्लों) को दे बैठता है, जो कि राजेश्वरनाथ की बहू है। जब राजेश्वरनाथ अपनी सजा पूरी करने के लिए तैयार होता है, तो उसे अजित के क्रोध का सामना करना पड़ेगा और रईसजादा और उसके आदमियों की योजना का भी।
