Dabangg” is a 2010 action-comedy film directed by Abhinav Kashyap and produced by Arbaaz Khan. The film stars Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan, Sonu Sood, Vinod Khanna, Dimple Kapadia, and Anupam Kher in key roles. It also marks the debut of Sonakshi Sinha.
The story revolves around Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan), who lives with his stepbrother Makhanchand “Makkhi” Pandey, stepfather Prajapati Pandey (Vinod Khanna), and mother Naina Devi (Dimple Kapadia) in Lalganj, Uttar Pradesh. Chulbul is often angry because his stepfather favors Makkhi. Years later, Chulbul becomes a police officer and, during a bank robbery, takes down the criminals but keeps the stolen money for himself. Though he sees himself as a Robin Hood figure, his family still doesn’t appreciate him.
Makkhi (Arbaaz Khan) is in love with a village girl, Nirmala (Mahie Gill), but her father, Masterji (Tinu Anand), opposes their relationship. Meanwhile, Chulbul falls for Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha), whom he meets during a police encounter. Chulbul also crosses paths with Cheddi Singh (Sonu Sood), a corrupt politician. Cheddi warns Chulbul that the men he arrested were part of his political party and that the money was for party funds. Cheddi offers to forgive Chulbul if he works for him, but Chulbul declines.

‘दबंग’ साल 2010 में रिलीज हुए एक्शन कॉमेडी फिल्म है, जिसे डायरेक्ट अभिनव कश्यप और प्रोड्यूस अरबाज़ खान ने किया है। फिल्म में सलमान खान, सोनाक्षी सिन्हा, अरबाज़ खान, सोनू सूद, विनोद खन्ना,डिम्पल कपाड़िया और अनुपम खेर मुख्य भूमिका में है। यह सोनाक्षी सिन्हा की पहली फिल्म है।
यह कहानी है चुलबुल पांडे (सलमान खान) की है, जो अपने सौतेले भाई माखनचन”मक्खी” पांडे, सौतेले पिता प्रजापति पांडे (विनोद खन्ना) और माँ नैना देवी (डिम्पल कपाड़िया) के साथ उत्तर प्रदेश के लालगंज में रहता है। उसके सौतेले पिता हमेशा मक्खी का साथ देते है जिसके कारण चुलबुल हमेशा गुस्सा रहता है। 21 साल बाद, चुलबुल एक पुलिस अधिकारी बन जाता है और एक गुंडों की टोली बैंक लूट कर पैसे गिन रही होती है तब उन गुंडों को मारकर पैसे बचा लेता है पर आखिर में सारे पैसे अपने पास ही रख लेता है। चुलबुल जो खुद को रोबिन हूड समझता है, लेकिन अभी भी उसके परिवार वाले उसे कुछ खास पसंद नहीं करते।
मक्खी (अरबाज़ खान) गांव की लड़की निर्मला (माही गील) से प्यार करता है जिसके पिता मास्टर जी (टीनू आनंद) उनके इस रिश्ते के खिलाफ है। दूसरी तरफ चुलबुल रजो (सोनाक्षी सिन्हा) से प्यार करने लगता है जिसे उसने एक पुलिस इनकाउंटर के दौरान देखा था। इसी दौरान चुलबुल की मुलाकात छेदी सिंह (सोनू सूद) जो छात्र परिषद का अध्यक्ष है और एक बदमाश भी। पुलिस ऑफिसर चुलबुल से मिलकर उसे बताता है की जिन आदमियों को उसने पकड़ा था और उनसे पैसे लिए थे वो उसकी पार्टी के लोग थे और वह पैसा पार्टी फंड का पैसा है। छेदी चुलबुल को माफ़ करने का प्रस्ताव रखता है कि अगर वह उसके लिए काम करे, तो वह उसे माफ कर देगी, लेकिन चुलबुल उसके प्रस्ताव ठुकरा देता है। आगे कैसे उनकी दुश्मनी खत्म होती है और चुलबुल सबका हीरो देखिये –
