The story of Wounded Cop is Shakti (Mithun Chakraborty), who grows up to be a noble and honest police officer and swears to avenge the murder of his father, the Police Commissioner, and get him justice. The story begins with Chaudhary (Om Puri), Amar Sharma and Das Babu being forced to give a wrong verdict against him, which hurts his reputation and hence he commits suicide. Due to this shock, his wife later goes mad and son Shakti takes the responsibility of bringing the criminals to justice.
However, his investigation is being hindered by powerful and corrupt individuals involved in the crime. Frustrated with the system’s failure to deliver justice, Shakthi decides to take matters into his own hands.As Shakthi sets out on a desperate quest for revenge, he meets Jyoti (Rituparna Sengupta), a strong-willed police inspector. Jyoti is initially skeptical of Shakthi’s methods, but she finds herself supporting Shakthi after seeing his unwavering belief in justice. Will Shakti be able to achieve his goal? Will justice prevail against corruption?
