Synopsis:

The story follows Ram and Rahim, inseparable childhood friends who get enrolled in college. Synopsis:

The plot revolves around Arjun Singh, a hot-headed but soft-hearted man who is misunderstood by others as a bad person. His only supporter is his childhood teacher, Masterji. Arjun falls in love with Aarti, but her father disapproves of their relationship and arranges her marriage to someone else. Despite his heartbreak, Arjun follows Masterji’s advice and does not disrupt the marriage.

Later, Arjun falls in love with Margaret, who has also faced opposition from her family. This time, Arjun decides to follow his heart and runs away with Margaret. The story explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the struggle to be understood.

Laila Majnu is a 1976 Indian Hindustani-language romantic drama film starring Rishi Kapoor, Ranjeeta and Danny Denzongpa in lead roles. Film is directed by Harnam Singh Rawail. The film’s music is by Madan Mohan and Jaidev. Based on the legend of Layla and Majnun, it tells the story of two star-crossed lovers: Laila, a princess and Qais a.k.a. Majnu, a common man.

Laila Majnu marked the debut of Ranjeeta. Upon its release in 1976, it garnered highly positive reviews from film critics, and became a box-office success. The humongous success of the film cemented Rishi Kapoor’s status as a bankable star; for after his debut in Bobby (1973), he did not have any major success before Laila Majnu, with the exception of Kabhi Kabhie (1976). However, the success of that film was credited towards Shashi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. Since its release in 1976, Laila Majnu is hailed as a cult classic.

Synopsis:

Kaish Amari at the tender age of six he is sent to school and gets friendly with a young girl named Laila. Both of them become close friends, so much so that Kaish gets himself punished and beaten for her. They mature in age so does their love much to the chagrin of Laila’s dad, who wants her to marry a wealthy Arabian, Bahksh, a noble Prince. Now the region is aflame with their love story, Kaish, who is now known as Majnu, cannot get Laila out of his mind and roams around the desert semi-senile, without food or drink, while Laila is getting wed to the man of her father’s choice. The question remains will love triumph in the end or is this young couple fated to be separated for the rest of their lives.

Synopsis-
The story deals with Maharaj Chhatrapal Singh (Shammi Kapoor) and his wife the Maharani, who are delighted when they become proud parents of a son – the heir to the throne of Ramgarh. Their delight is short-lived when the Palace Astrologer predicts that Chatrapal will be the last of the Maharajas for Ramgarh, and no throne is destined for his son, Raju (Rishi Kapoor). Perturbed at this news, Chatrapal decides to protect Raju from the world, and makes him lead a secluded life within the four walls of the palace and its surrounding grounds. Years later, Raju has grown up and his has arranged his marriage with a young woman of noble parentage. Raju is unhappy with this decision, and decides to run away with his bodyguard, Gulshan (Shakti Kapoor). They end up in Bombay city, where Raju starts to work as a waiter in a restaurant. He meets with and falls in love with a dancer and singer, Anita Sethi (Madhoo), who is the daughter of a wealthy man. Her father would like her to marry Jimmy Narang (Mohnish Bahl), son of the wealthy Mr. Narang, but Anita too falls in love with Raju. When Jimmy finds out that Raju is an heir-apparent to Ramgarh’s throne, he tells Anita, who is angry with Raju for suppressing this information from her. Narang also informs Chatrapal, who sets off with an army, to bring Raju back to marry the woman he has chosen for him. Raju now has to make a choice – stay and be captured by his father’s men; or run away elsewhere.

Synopsis –
Vishal (Rishi Kapoor) comes from a wealthy Hindu family. His father is well known Chandraprakash Singh (Amrish Puri), and his mom is a housewife, Sharda (Asha Parekh). Vishal falls in love with a young Catholic girl, Ruby Miranda (Farha). While Ruby’s dad (Alok Nath) approves of the marriage, Chandraprakash does not, and will not even hear of his son marrying someone not of equal status in wealth, leave alone a different religion. He is all the more enraged when he learns that Vishal is not really his son.
