“Prem Granth” is a 1996 Hindi romantic drama featuring Rishi Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, and Om Puri. The film follows the story of Somen, the son of a Hindu priest in a village. Somen falls in love with Kajri, who belongs to a lower caste, but their relationship is disapproved by Somen’s family. When Kajri goes missing, Somen leaves his village to live with his uncle. The film explores whether the lovers will ever reunite.
